I’m moving back up there tomorrow because my family is moving out of state so it makes the most sense for me to just go back to Humboldt. The thing is all my friends are at home for the summer and I have nothing to do except chud out and doomscroll. I’m looking for people to hang out with and I’m down to do literally anything I just need to not be alone all summer thanks gang 🙏

I’m looking to get into the alternative scene in the area but not really sure how, and if there’s much of one at all.

I’m 20 and been on T for a year now, just had top surgery earlier this year too. I’m starting to feel more confident and at a point where I want to start dating, and I’m only into cis women. I live in a pretty liberal area so I’m not worried about transphobia I might encounter in dating, but worried about having more limited options because I don’t have a penis, and I’m also just not sure how to approach women. I’m in college so I’d like to maybe talk to girls in my classes but I’m so socially awkward I don’t know how lol.

How do you guys talk to women you’re interested in, especially ones you’ve never talked to before?

I’m a college student in CA so I’ll still be away at school most of the time, but in this economy I’ll be living with my parents during school breaks and probably a couple years post grad.

I’m studying anthropology but career-wise I might honestly end up doing something totally unrelated, I’m currently kind of interested in cosmetology and might check out cosmetology programs in Portland.

I’m into metal, goth, alt scene in general, which I know Portland has plenty of but I’m just not sure where to look lol. Trying to collect as many piercings as possible…

For example I was going to a baseball game and my dad asked if I know what I wanna get to eat yet and I simply said “no,” and he got mad. Like sometimes I just don’t have more to say…

For example:

“The service at this restaurant is kinda taking a while.”

“It’s fine, can you calm down? We’re not in a rush.”

Or:

“The sound of babies crying on a plane is a little annoying.”

“You’ll survive, everyone has to deal with it. You need to learn to cope.”

Or even with positive emotions:

“I’m excited for the football game tonight.”

“There’s football games all the time, what are you so happy about? Chill out”

Doesn’t exactly have to be a pet peeve but I’m talking about little annoyances, not bigger and deeper issues such as transphobia, struggling to pass etc

For example: putting a binder on over a sunburn 🥴

I was getting into Nekopara but stopped liking it because it made me uncomfortable that the girls look like kids, even if they are adults. Can someone recommend one where the catgirls are and look like adults?

This has several manifestations
- slamming doors, stomping around, being noisy when they’re in a bad mood
- silent treatment
- acting different/cold towards you

Just tried it for the first time today, it’s good and I’d probably buy again but I find it a little lacking in flavor compared to others.

I’m so hype about it lmao. I was at my dad’s favorite taqueria buying him a hat with its logo for Father’s Day and the cashier said “gracias amigo” and fist bumped me. I’ve been passing pretty consistently for the past few months despite my long ass hair now that I’ve been on T for a year but something about it being in another language makes it feel even better lol

I get you have places to be but everyone has time to wait a second for someone to sit down so they don’t stumble. What’s worse is when it’s someone who’s elderly or disabled. If they fall, not only could it be 100x worse for them but it’ll also be a fat lawsuit
