Are there any "unique" shops remaining where you live? Shops that basically sells only one type of item, but usually very high quality.

Examples I mean are: the Pen Shop on College Green that recently closed, the Irish yeast company also at college green, maybe a shop that just sells clocks. That kind of thing

Not including boutiques or clothes shops, fl or any sort of hardware or electronics places

This is a particular type of Scottish face I call the Hawkman, I think it's a look unique to Scotland. Does your country have a distinct type of face? -male or female

I'm not Scottish btw, also I'm not mocking this look,I think Hawkmen are very handsome

What's the longest 45 you own?

For me it's "Farce" by English anarcho punks Rudimentary Peni

11 songs and clocks in at just under 15 minutes of music

What are some cool French disco tunes from the early 80s?

I mean, disco made in France, I'd especially love to hear some French takes on electronic disco from 82/83/84

Is there such a thing as Franco Disco ?

France was on the ball very early with electronic dance music, for example, Cerrone, Martin Circus, and Queen Samantha, but what were they doing in 82/83/84 when drum machines and synths became more available.

Do you know any cool french electronic disco tunes from that era?

What kind of job do you think a working DJ from today would have had 150 years, before recorded music existed*?

So let's say a guy in early 30s, he was pretty hip in an underground scene about ten years ago and he's trying to make a living from DJing. So he still does some underground gigs but these days commercial gigs are becoming more frequent to make ends meet.

Someone with those skills, What was his or indeed her job, when 150 years ago

Don't just say musicians, I'm talking about the kind of DJ who appreciates music but doesn't make it.

*I'm sure some pedant nerd is ready with "well actually, Edison's wax cylinder was patented in 1856" or something

Who remembers the Festival of World Cultures in Dun Laoghaire in the mid 00s?

For a free public festival, that was a really cool day out
