Looking at getting some subtle aftermarket alloy wheels and lowering springs for my hatchback. A mate told me not to bother declaring them because the insurers will never notice unless the car is completely wrapped around a tree. Is it worth the risk of having a total loss claim invalidated over something purely cosmetic?
