What are the Dues / % on successful plays and musicals and authors?

(Besides the yearly member dues.)

I read this page on their website, and then couldn't find it again.

If your play or musical becomes successful, you pay the DGA a % ... and this is the real way the DGA stays operating. The DGA says something like this 1% of successful authors (monetarily) pays 71% of all operating costs, the few successful writers paying for the guild to help the less successful (monetarily).

So I'm asking ...

• ... What is the exact terms and % percentage that a successful writer / production pays to the DGA?
• (I remember it was something like 2% for plays, and 3% for musicals ... but I don't know the exact percentages and exact terms, such as where the % comes from [net/gross/overall profit/personal profit/after a certain $$ amount/all future earnings/etc.] ... the fine print is important!)

It is in the membership contract/TOS and in their FAQ/Help pages ... but I searched and searched and I couldn't find the information again.

Ear Infections -- AirPods Pro -- Better solution?

I have AirPods Pro 2.

The silicone heads irritate my ears, make my ear canal itchy, I get earwax buildup, and now I get ear infections.

When I use over-the-ear (normal) headphones, it all goes away.

Anyway ... what can I do so that I can use my AirPods Pros without all the ear problems and ear infections?

Or is there a better model / type that doesn't cause these issues (even if not Apple)? (Not full headphones, but are small.)

I prefer Apple because they have the best range and connections to Apple devices.

But I wonder if I have to give up my AirPod Pros to avoid ear infections?

So, I've wasted many hours and days and 100s of credits...

I'm in "Song Editor."

Just trying to add a small section to my song ... 16 bars with new lyrics and music...

Does adding "new section" NOT truly work?

I get the new section, but it will NEVER apply my new lyrics!

(Suno won't use my new lyrics, just copies from other parts of the song.)

I try over and over, just repeats lyrics from the "context window" no matter what I type in.

Then if I hit "Commit" and try to replace those lyrics, Suno just does the same, or malfunctions, and messes up my whole song timeline to the point I have to REST EVERYTHING and REBUILD the WHOLE SONG from scratch.

I even saved the song as a new song, tried it again from a fresh copy, and no go ... just keeps copying lyrics from the context window and not from what I actually type in for "replace lyrics".

I can get Suno to add a section, but not the lyrics I want ... Suno just says "Nope, you get the lyrics I am going to copy from other sections, so it just sounds like you’re repeating yourself."

I don't even see an "instrumental" option ... for say adding a guitar solo.

It's infuriating.

Suno brags about "add a new section" " add a solo" etc ... nope not for me.

Anyone notice the same, have advice, work around, or fix?

What am I doing wrong?

I'm in song editor.

I tried to cut the end of my song, and then fade-out. Never had a problem before, until now.

FADE OUT is stuck PAST the END of my song?

How do I fix? (See screenshots)

I have tried everything I can think of and I just can't get my FADE-OUT to line up with the end of the song ... there are some invisible sections at the end that won't delete, and they're literally holding my FADE-OUT hostage.

I need to cut off the end section, then fade out a second or so ... but Suno won't let me!

I click delete, crop, I move bars, sliders, etc etc -- nothing is working.

Suno Song Editor — Sections of my song are dimmed and don't play audio.

I'm trying to edit my song. Was going fine ... then ... this happened. I don't know how to get those sections to play audio ... the other sections play fine, then when it hits these dimmed sections ... no sound.

Obviously, make editing a little hard.

What can I do?

I'm on the highest paid plan, so I have plenty of credits.

Every now and then, I get no audio in SUNO Studio when I'm editing ... what should I do?

I try reloading the page, audio still doesn't work.

I get all the dials and buttons and visuals and waveforms, it all works ... just no actual sound output.

Not all the time ... but just sometimes.

Is there a secret procedure to make sound work again, so I'm not wasting time spinning wheels just hitting reload and waiting for the "DSP ENGINE" to load?

(My audio works in other tabs of my browser, such as YouTube and playing SUNO songs themselves ... audio just stops for some reason for editing in Studio.)

Ranges from cardio to weights, walk/bike to weightlifting, etc.

Nothing strenuous, but good daily exercise.

I can easily burn 100s to 1000+ calories just on exercise per day, depending.

I'm not fat, pretty healthy. Never been fat. Never been overweight (at most a few pounds up and down, but never struggled with weight issues).

I drink 1/2 gallon whole milk per day.

Anyway ... just wondering ...

I bought high-end soap that INSTEAD of water, it uses 100% ALOE VERA gel.

The rest of the ingredients are normal high-end (soap stuff and fragrance).

I haven't used it enough to notice the difference, except it's THICK and feels and smells great ... but wondering if there are smarter people than me who can say if 100% ALOE GEL SOAP has true benefits over water-based liquid soap?

Sometimes I need to do a "mashup" or "cover" to get the song or edit I want.

There's nothing but g*dd*mn crackles, pops, skips, and glitches in v5.5 Mashups and Covers -- and lower quality overall in v5.

FYI -- I find if I keep the sliders at 50% for everything (middle), it reduces (but does not eliminate) the crackles and skips and glitches ... but the closer you get to 25% or less or 75% or more on the sliders (the far ends, but theoretically still in the "safe zone") ... the more crackles and glitches you get.

V5 generally doesn't have the same extreme issues, but the sound quality is not what it used to be.

SUNO was reaching a point where it sounded super-realistic... but when you use "mashup" or "cover" -- it is sounding like a glitchy robot, sometimes unbearable ... sometimes OK ... but rarely clean and human and passable.

I am using up 1000s of credits just to get a CLEAN PRODUCTION version of ONE song (without crackles or crappy audio or synthetic/static-y vocals).

Everything I want is there -- EXCEPT THE CLEAN PRODUCTION VALUE!

I even put in the prompt (which helps a little) "clear female and male vocals, perfect studio production, clean recording" -- but the issue is with SUNO v5.5 itself -- it ADDS the glitches and crackles and pops no matter what, because it is GLITCHY.

I can get what I want eventually ... but it can take DAYS and 1000s of credits!

WTF!!!!!

It's exhausting!

I just had to vent and warn others ... and see if you had the same or other solutions?

Why does v5.5 SUNO think all of my songs are in front of a cheering crowd?

I keep getting exaggerated crowd cheering and stadium / anthem like energy ... even though it's not technically in my tags / prompts.

SUNO just likes to imagine I have a cheering fanbase to most of my songs.

It's flattering ... to know I have so many AI fans ... that they keep showing up for my recordings ...

... but the cheering ruins my songs -- and after a while, when every song has a cheering crowd and stadium energy ... it seems a bit cheesy and fake.

What can I do?

I need my 1000s of hollering AI fans to stay off of my recordings!
