I've heard stories of Taxi drivers who are obliged to bring passengers to places like brothels or liquor stores, to pubs, bring people alcoholic beverages or other haram foods if they pay for it. The guys who own these companies couldn't care less about that. They want money. Even the muslim entrepreneurs who own Taxi businesses do these things.

Here in Austria we're not allowed to tell passengers "No" and I also can't say "No boss I'm not gonna pick that guy up" on the phone.

So what am I gonna do? I can't work in stores stacking shelves with haram things. I can't work as a car salesman near the car dealership where I live because I'm forced to help and sign leasing contracts with customers which contain riba.

Every job I found contains some kind of Haram and I don't want to attract Allahs displeasure on me.

I don't have the physical capacity to work in cleaning or construction.

I had my own pizza place for 10 years but I had to close it because I was burned out working 80 hours per week. I sold halal foods but barely made enough to survive and pay my monthly bills.

I'm really frustrated.

All I read was bringing a lot of OG stuff back. I would love to play it like you guys did years ago when the game released.

Ich habe mit dem 14.09.2026 meinen ersten Arbeitstag in einer neuen Firma und möchte meine erste App die ich seit ein paar Jahren in Bearbeitung habe mit dem 25.09.26 veröffentlichen.

Es sind 16 interne Tester und knapp 1900 externe Tester, welche durch Einladungen die App ausprobieren konnten, beteiligt gewesen und ist jetzt endlich ready to go.

Die App an sich ist gratis mit einer Option einmalig einige Features freizuschalten. Um Datenschutz, US-Steuerformulare, DAC7, DSA-Händlerstatus etc. habe ich mich schon gekümmert.

Wie sieht das Ganze dann mit Gewerbe, SVS neben ÖGK und Steuern aus während ich nebenbei Vollzeit arbeiten gehe? Was wird mich da erwarten?

Ich habe letzten Donnerstag meinen Wagen zu einem Händler gebracht, bei dem wir den Wagen vor 5 Jahren gekauft haben und er auch unser Firmennachbar gewesen ist.

Er meinte, dass sie sich den Wagen ansehen werden und mich dann wieder kontaktieren. Vorher noch besprochen was ich mir preislich vorstelle etc.

Es sind mittlerweile Arbeitstage vergangen und ich wurde noch immer nicht kontaktiert, auf meine WhatsApp Nachricht wurde auch nicht reagiert.

Wie lange dauert sowas im Schnitt? Ist es ein offizieller, zertifizierter Premium Marken Händler in Österreich, kein Hinterhof Verkäufer.

It doesn't matter if it's Canada or Austria - the job market is really brutal at the moment. Are you hoping for a better feature with less Ai taking over real employees or what exactly are how holding onto guys?

I was self employed for 10 years, working 80 hours per week with only week off per year - for the last decade. I'm kinda exhausted and I want to try something else.

I feel like being too honest won't get you a lot of studies. For example I was self employed for 10 years. Since I updated that in my section, I basically didn't get any more studies. Same after switching phones from android to iOS. I feel like there is a perfect mixture in the About You section that will get you a ton of studies

Where exactly do I start? Is there a roadmap or something?

Ich hab knapp ne 9 Tage gebraucht und es komplett auf Herz und Nieren geprüft und dabei wirklich guten Spaß gehabt. Jetzt überlege ich mir wirklich Software Tester zu werden, da ich mich zur Zeit sowieso nach einer neuen Ausbildung/Arbeit umsehe.

Könnt ihr mir etwas erzählen? Von eurem Alltag, euren Tätigkeiten bis hin zu eurem Gehalt? :)

I have the opportunity to sell high end luxury cars - amazing salary and provision per sold car but I can't do it because it's haram (gotta do leasing contracts and offer financing through the bank which both include riba. Also gotta offer insurances that are not mandatory but gharar).

I had the opportunity to be a Taxi driver - but I'm forced to bring customers beer to their home if they want to and also drive them to places like casinos and brothels. Every taxi company in my hometown, I asked them specifically if I decline such customers but the answer was no.

I wanted to do some delivery for Foodora (like Doordash or UberEats) but I'm forced to deliver haram food and drinks like pork and alcoholic beverages. I'm not allowed to decline them and wait for someone else to take the order.

I have like 9 others jobs like this that would suit me. And all of them contain some kind of haram.

How many more job offers do I have to decline until Allah is satisfied with me?

I don't want to exchange my Akhirah for this world that means absolutely nothing. But how long will this go on like this? I have no money left and a huge pile of debt because of my parents. On top of that a wife which also can't find a job that's not haram or degrading.
