Married life with Kasumi?

I've been uncertain whether to marry Kasumi or Komari for first time playing. While I like Komari's persona, I found Kasumi more relatable (not in the exact same way). So I had kind of settled down for Kasumi. However, on research, it seems even after marriage she will be out of town for most the time, with no ability to at least speak with her while she works. While I like having my wife not juat stay home all the time, I still would like to be able to see her. Is she going to be abscent most of the time? In which case, I might go for Komari who continues running the teahouse while I can still talk with her.

When is Kasumi available?

I can now visit all three towns as of Summer 5. However, Kasumi does not appear at all. It seems she has an irregualr schedule going by guides yet even when I visit very early or late she is nowhere to be seen. Even Tuesday which seems to be her day off I could not find her at all. Where is she exactly and how can you meet her?

Will it take a while to get all the clothes in Trio of Towns?

A shop sells white and black cloth and was able to make outfits with 5 white wool each. However, other outfits require more complex colors which are not sold. I expanded the barn to have more alpaca and sheep but I cannot put it out due to lack of space on farm. So I have one sheep only which slowly supplies wool. I need to build a textile eventually but it will take time to get materials. Is it going to take a long time to have a varied wardrobe or are there ways to speed up? I am playing on Seedling so money is less an issue.

Actually find X and Y enjoyable.

Pokemon X and Y have a bad reputation in the Pokemon community on the internet. However, I recently picked up Pokemon X version and I actually quite like it. The 3DS visuals look quite decent. And I do like having four friends. And Serena seems she will be a fun competitive girl rival. I have got up to waking Snorlax so I cannot judge plot yet. I do enjoy the new Pokemon and like that you can pick a Kanto starter. I actually find Pokemon X and Y quite enjoyable and was wondering if others like them.

Do you personally enjoy wearing outfits that are opposite your gender?

Trio of Towns actually allows you to obtain all clothing regardless of gender unlike some past games where clothes were exclusive to gender. I haven't gotten the materials needed to upgrade but do feel curious about trying out the variety of clothes that can be worn. And wondered if any players actually enjoy wearing the outfits opposite to their gender in this game.

How can you get clothes in this game?

You do need to upgrade. Though it doesn't seem wood respawns frequently so it will take awhile to get all the materials needed. Once done, how easy is it to get outfits? Do you just need to have the money or are there other steps necessary to get clothes you want? Also, what is the quickest way to get material needed to expand house?

How far will season 2 adapt?

They actually are doing volume seven which actually is the only one I've read (they cut out the part where Amane suggested as an alternaitve to the cafe I think something the rest of the class thought boring). Given 12 are currently realeased, will it actually have enough to do a season 3 or adapt most of current story?

Favorite bachelorette?

I finally have been able to play 3oT. Unfortunately since it is still early none of the other towns except West Town are accessible. Given I enjoyed having more than one in ToTT, I am looking forward to it. Since not sure what to discuss on it, just thought to ask which bachelorette others like? I am planning to marry Kasumi but also like what I've read of Komari's persona (in which case I can replay in future to marry her). Though which is your favorite and why?

Any good guides for Hometown Story or tips?

I started to play it. Although not a HM game, it is set in same universe. I want to marry Anna but not sure if I should play it like a main series HM game or if marriage and friendship differs. I managed to sell at least one item. The game does have a learning curve that I think I can get used to. Lot of people seem to find it hard and there is no Fogu equivalent for it. Any good guides like Fogu? And any tips from those who played it, Also, what is best way to marry and befriend (particularly for Anna)?

How are Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire compared to the GBA games?

While there is no Battle Frontier and some basic stuff is same, there are changes to both plot and characters. How is it as an alternative experience? Is it not much difference to be worth loss of Frontier or is there plot different enough to be worth playing?

What is the best way to play Trio of Towns?

I chose to do seedling mode for less stress given real life even though I am a veteren playing Harvest Moon. And want to marry Kasumi for this first playthrough. The controls seems getting used to since I have never played any games for 3DS before. I've read there is a lot to do even after completion. I actually ahve several DS HM games that I am continuing to play even after completion for 100%. And think I will do the same for 3oT. How is married life in this game? It would be nice if there was lot of immersion of dialogue even years into the game from wife and child.

How does friendship work in Hometown Story?

I just started playing. And want to marry Anna. But not sure how courting or friendship works. Also, how should you balance between managing the shop and exploring and talking to people?

How does Tree of Tranquility compare to the 2D games?

I actually now am able to play Wii games, which means I might soon play ToT and AP when I feel like it. Though I have only ever played 2D games or isometric. So just was wondering if there is any major difference in gameplay for ToT.

How is George Towle's version of Around the World in 80 Days?

It is the most common one reprinted. And unlike Mercier Lewis translations doesn't seem to have the same negative reputation. Though comparing it to the more newer Penguin version it does seem to slightly condense passages. Though is it good as a translation?

What is the best way to study for someone who enjoys reading for pleasure but not studying?

I find I enjoy reading literture and even history and biography when done just for pleasure and following the events out of interest rather than for memorizing details. By contrast, textbooks and nonficiton feel often boring and even stressful espically when trying to learn or memorize details like defintions of science formulas and concepts or learning certain grammer rules and writing processes. Is there a better way to study considering that reading is enjoybale when done for pleasure but not conciously for learning?

Why does a major character get killed off so early?

I was expecting Sarah to be a major presence. However, she dissappears when you get the book and leaves a note to go somewhere else. Then when you get there she already has returned to her town only for you to find she has been killed when you return there as well. It feels anticlimatic. Still actaully finding the game enjoyable (and it is the DS version to boot). I am currently at the mine which she mentioned in her last message. Though was there any point to her dying so early?

I haven't been playing IoH regularly. But I did pick it up again on whim and it is Fall 3 of year 7 and I actually got Taro come to my house and announce a celebration and the credits rolled after cutscenes. I honestly didn't know there was such a scene and don't know what I did to get it. I think I also got one when married but didn't think there was any more. What exactly do you need to do to get the credits?

I have been playing the DS version of the game ansld have been enjoying it well. I currently need to find Sarah and give her the book. Many people were saying the DS game is bad which I do not get (though it is my first time playing any Ys games). There is a NES version and some others not on Nintendo consoles. Are they worth playing? How do they differ from the DS version? Are any other games in the series worth checking?
