Intel-powered Minisforum PC launches (with optional desktop AMD Radeon GPU nobody wants)

B580 to the rescue... again?
With Zen 5, we were promised 16% IPC gains and benchmarks later proved it was more like the famous meme, Zen 5%. With Zen 6, they are underwhelming us with an anticipated 10-15% tops. So we should expect, based on history, even less than 5%? This is disappointing. Competition is a good thing and it sounds like Intel will not have any competition for Nova Lake until perhaps Zen 8? That will give Intel nearly a decade of uncontested dominance in client where they already outsell AMD about 2 1/2 to 1.
Nice use of AI!
Oh no!!!! This writer suggests AMD are doing dodgy stuff! I certainly won't buy from a company who does dodgy stuff. I am glad I read this article.
