One of my neighbors heard an Aldi is opening on Morgan Ave in 2027. Then I heard they are hiring now. Anyone know any new information.

Things are bad at Community Board now Gary Giordano is running the office all by himself another office worker there had to go out on disability heart trouble took cab to Wyckoff now at Lenox Hill they are having trouble hiring someone part time not a lot of money In budget 2 office workers now still on payroll while disabled

Community Board 5 meeting was Wednesday night Ridgewood Rides are trying to get a pedestrian pla za by Korean Square Forest Ave Grandview Ave Palmetto Street a lot of the businesses are interested in it

The Maspeth/Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table is in need of food. My regular food supplier is having health issues so she cannot bring over food anymore. Someone donated some Asian food products this morning by early evening all of that was gone. If you go to Stop & Shop this week, they are giving away FREE Hummus. If you are not going to use it bring it over to the table. I have gotten donations of clothes and other items, but most people look for food.
