Thank you for the cooler

Someone was nice enough to send us a cooler from Amazon today for frozen meals and other perishables that are donated to the Maspeth Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table. I need a chain and lock for it though to put it outside. If you can donate 1 it would greatly appreciated. I have 1 on my Amazon wishlist if you want to send us 1. All donations greatly appreciated. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/JY7U8QQZ8BBU?ref\_=wl\_share

Maspeth Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table thanks you

I want to thank everyone who has been donating to the Maspeth/Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table. You are helping so many people. Not only people from Maspeth and Ridgewood come to the table looking for things they need. I have a person who comes from Yonkers.

My neighbor was cleaning up and left some rabbit supplies on the table no one touched them for 2 days. Today a rabbit rescuer contacted me for them and when I went outside the items were gone. I added rabbit food to my Wishlist on Amazon.

I also added a cooler and ice packs to my Wishlist. I have been getting tv dinners and other perishable foods as donations, and I have to throw them out after an hour or 2.

Some of the people who I help with my table. A woman who comes looking for clothes when she can't afford to go to the laundromat. A social worker who looks for food on my table when the insurance companies delay her payments. She is also a vegan, and she can't afford to go to CTown all the time for fruits and vegetables. I am also getting a lot of grandmothers who are helping to raise their grandchildren looking for baby and young children's items. I also get kids coming and going to PS 153 and PS 290 look on my tables for toys and snacks. Their parents look at the food and clothes on the table and take what they need. A few people come looking for food and things they need on my table who have health issues and can't make ends meet and have no family to help them.

Items that are in high demand:

FOOD FOR PEOPLE OR PETS

CLOTHES

TOILETRIES

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

DIAPERS FOR BABIES & ADULTS

TOYS

BACK PACKS, LUNCH BOXES & POCKET BOOKS

Books really don't go on my table, so when I get a donation of them I wait a few days then I bring them down to the Little Free Library in PS 153's school yard.

Donations can be dropped off, and you can take what you need 24 hours a day & 7 days a week:

5938 60TH ROAD, MASPETH

Donations can also be dropped off at certain businesses during business hours. Just label them Maspeth/Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table.

ASSEMBLYMAN STEVEN RAGA'S OFFICE, 60-14 QUEENS BLVD., CELLAR, WOODSIDE

COOK'S ARTS & CRAFTS SHOPPE, 80-09 MYRTLE AVE., GLENDALE

SCHWILLE-D'ANGELO FUNERAL HOME, 66-32 MYRTLE AVE., GLENDALE

STATE SENATOR JOSEPH ADDABBO'S OFFICE, 66-85 73RD PLACE, MIDDLE VILLAGE

HARISCH STUDIOS, 57-44 MYRTLE AVE., 2ND FLOOR RIDGEWOOD

I am trying to find a drop off site in Sunnyside but so far no one has offered me to use their business as 1. I had a request for that.

For people who cannot donate in person I created an Amazon Wishlist:

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/JY7U8QQZ8BBU...

Thank you for all donations. And if you are near the Maspeth/Ridgewood border and are in need please check out table and take what you need. No questions asked. Please spread the word. Thanks
