Did one a couple of years ago that felt relentlessly hilly and miserable and swore I would never return. Went back last month with lower expectations and somehow really enjoyed it. Not sure if I was fitter, in a better mood, or if the course itself genuinely changes depending on conditions. Has anyone had the same experience with a course they initially wrote off.

Heathrow Terminal 5 Centurion Lounge queues have been genuinely bad this summer and the Plaza Premium access at other terminals is noticeably worse than the Centurion. Paying £650 a year and then standing in a queue for forty minutes before a flight is not quite the premium experience the marketing suggests. Has anyone found a consistent way around this or is it just accepted as a peak travel problem?

He is clearly not a trained designer and his reactions are often more about instinct and feeling than technical knowledge. But that is probably why the show works for a general audience. The professional judges do the technical critique and Alan does what most viewers are actually thinking. Do people think the presenting style is the right fit for this kind of show or would you want someone with more design knowledge in that role.

Every series there are people who surprise you and people who just repeat the same patterns. Series 31 has had some interesting shifts in how certain people are coming across compared to previous series. Who stood out for you and who do you wish had been given more to do?

Series 6 had a good mix and watching how different relationship dynamics handle the pressure of being stuck together with no money and no phone is always the most interesting part. Some pairs fall apart and some get stronger. Which pairing dynamic do you think generally makes for the best television and did series 6 have the right mix?

It feels like almost everyone recommends it now. If you've seen it, did it live up to everything you'd heard, or were you expecting more?

I feel like every cat starts with one proper name and somehow ends up with about ten completely unrelated nicknames.

Over the last few months I've been getting Teams messages and emails in the evenings. My manager always says there's no pressure to respond, but it still feels difficult to ignore them until the next day. Has anyone else dealt with this, and how did you handle it?

Not necessarily the winning moment, just a decision where you thought they genuinely outthought the other team or handled the task brilliantly.

I once paid for a group booking and everyone transferred me their share afterwards. Made me wonder how many points people have picked up from organising weddings, holidays or work meals.

For me it wasn't learning about crops or livestock.

It was seeing how much time gets spent dealing with paperwork, planning, regulations and things you'd never even think about as a viewer.

I genuinely had no idea that side of farming took up so much of the job.

I'll start: that buying a £1,000 car with your mates would lead to the adventure of a lifetime. In reality it would probably lead to a breakdown on the M25, an argument over who pays for recovery and someone spending 4 hours waiting for the AA in the rain. Top Gear somehow convinced an entire generation that owning questionable cars was a personality trait rather than a financial mistake. What was the biggest lie the show sold you that you only realised as an adult?

Not trying to make this a political discussion, just something I've wondered about recently. It feels like a lot of people who helped create the culture, creativity and character that made Hackney attractive in the first place would struggle to move here now.
