Kids sail free?

Am I missing something? I was thinking about booking a cruise with msc and I saw an ad that said kids sail free. I put in my information just to see if it was true and the kids were charged for the cruise fare. It even said the "kids sail free" discount was added. My kids are 10 and 3 of that matters.

Hampton inn room accommodations

My family and I are staying at the Hampton inn in Panama City Beach in November. We booked through a timeshare. We were assigned a standard room with an ocean view but were hoping to switch to a studio. On the website it is the same exact price but when I call they say we would have to pay an extra 40 per night for the "upgrade". It's hardly an upgrade especially since the one I asked about was no ocean view or even ocean side. Just wanted a little extra room. Are they just trying to get more money

Question about hotel breakers/admission dates

We wanted to stay at the hotel breakers but then visit the park the day we check out instead of the day of check in so we can relax and enjoy the hotel then get up and go the park the next day. How would I go about booking this? I see you get discounted Tix for staying here, but are the tickets automatically for the day you check in?

Nervous about preschool

Hey everyone. So my son will be 4 this fall and I've signed him up for preschool. I'm really worried because he's very attached to me and doesn't like being away from me and my husband. He's never done daycare, never even really been left with a babysitter. How long does it usually take for kids like this to adjust? I'm hoping he'll surprise me and be perfectly fine but I know that's probably not realistic

Fast food cheat days

I've been eating clean for awhile but yesterday I indulged in some tropical smoothie for breakfast, then I had long john silvers for dinner. Today I feel like garbage. Does anyone just avoid greasy and fried these foods all together? It's a bummer I can't enjoy these foods every once in awhile. I tend to have days sometimes where I just want to binge on everything unhealthy. I always end up regretting it

[USA] question about missing days

If my daughter's dad doesn't take her in his scheduled days (which happens pretty frequently) is it fair that he pays me to make up for those days to cover food, gas or whatever for that specific day? Like $25 per day. He does already pay child support of 100 per week.

November weather?

How's the weather typically in early November? Planning a trip and hoping to be able to go to the beach. Farmers almanac is predicting colder than usual. 🥲

Frequent appointments

This can't be normal. For the last year my 10 year old daughters ped has been scheduling to see her every 3 months. Finally yesterday I asked what gives? They said our insurance requires me to bring her in every 3 months and that it'll automatically schedule her if I don't. Sounded bogus to me. Sure enough I called insurance and they said it's not necessary. Once a year is good unless there's a problem. Anyone else's ped do this? Her Endo already closely monitors her t1 and the pediatrician knows this. She sees endo every 3ish months and is well controlled with no other problems. I'm thinking about looking for a new one because this sounds like a money grab

Frequent pediatrician appointments

My daughter's pediatrician has been scheduling to see her every 3 months for follow up visits. Is this normal? She is 10 and sees her endocrinologist about every 3 months too. She's well controlled and the visits to the ped seem too frequent and frankly kind of pointless. A yearly or twice a year would seem more appropriate

Inconsistent coparent

How does everyone handle an inconsistent coparent? For the past two years or so my ex hasn't been consistent with picking up our 10 year old from school mainly due to work. Now that it's summer I think he'll probably see her even less he says because his schedule is busy. I'm a stay at home mom but I have another child and other things going on. the inconsistency is driving me nuts and makes it really difficult to plan anything since a lot of times it's last minute or a day or two before his scheduled days. He only shows up id say about 50% of the time. I've told him in the past how I feel and he apologizes but says there's nothing he can do and nothing changes. Anyone have any advice? Am I just stuck dealing with this?

Same amenities?

Random. If you book a hotel through a timeshare, do you still get the same amenities that you'd get if you booked directly with the hotel? Such as the free breakfast

Bluegreen income limit?

My husband and I signed up for a bluegreen timeshare presentation and a 3 night hotel stay. We paid $250 for the package. I called them about some information today and they said we need to make 50.000 or more. We make just under that! Will that be an issue? The person that sold us the package said it didn't matter 🤔 but the person over the phone said we need to make over 50.

Things to do?

We're debating on visiting in August or November. Will it be too dead in November? What are some things to do with young kids? Any where else we should check out? Like 30A or Destin area
