I have a g80 m3, how much performance am I leaving on the table by letting the car shift automatically? In the more performance oriented modes it stays in pretty low gears and keeps rpms at 4-5000. It seems like you could actually slow yourself down if you are shifting too early or late as well.

I was talking to another driver who said his car (which IIRC was some kind of alfa romeo) he needed to use the paddles because on one long slow turn it would shift to too high a gear.

He got Carmella the Turbo which is a 450+hp V8 with a locking diff and off road suspension, terrible fuel economy and the performance completely wasted for a grocery getter pottering around the suburbs (and I don't imagine carmella would be someone putting her foot down in it).

He should've got her a merc, lexus, bmw x5 or range rover imo. The strength of the porsche is in its sporty handling and driving dynamics.

But very entertaining. It's pretty funny how after trying to kill him like 5 times cao cao doesn't just give up. Also hilarious how after he's done like 4 miracles in a row cao cao is still thinking they are tricks somehow

At least for the faith of the seven. In fact I would go as far as to say as not a single pov character actually seems to believe in the faith at all, at least outside of the first book where they get mentioned a bit more by Sansa and maybe Cat.

It seems like only faceless commonfolk actually believe in the seven while the evil rich nobility just use it to manipulate them. While in real life a lot of monarchs were very concerned with the fate of their soul Henry II, Edward the Confessor, William the conqueror when near death, ivan the terrible.

Frequently characters will make some kind of boast that if they are given x men they will take y city and if they fail they will be dealt with under military law or something along those lines.

Are they not always under that law by being part of the military? What's the difference and exactly what law are they referring to?

They are the same price (C63 is slightly cheaper) but C63 has an extra 100hp and is 100kg lighter. What's the advantage of the E53? It has a (worse performing) 6 cylinder but imo having the most powerful 4 cylinder ever is cooler than that.

Is it significantly nicer inside?

I imagine it was prestigious. Did they actually tutor the emperor themselves or was it more of a theoretical thing that didn't actually happen and they had underlings do it. I could see it potentially being powerful if they had a lot of access to and therefore influence over the emperor.

Not sure how they justify it even with inflated parts prices. 7L of oil ~$250, oil filter ~$90, 1-2L of diff fluid ~$200.

It's at most a two-hour job which means they are charging $655 an hour for labour.
