I find a lot of people say they hate playing D on Heisman and that it’s way too hard, but with the way I have my sliders and with how much I’ve played over the years I love play defense in CFB.

I’m curious because the sentiment seems be that people sim defense and play offense, and I’ll do that against lower teams to get through games faster but I’ll play both sides against good teams.

What do you guys do? And people that play D on Heisman, any tips for people to improve? The main tips I would give are use stunts as much as possible, pick up what the cpu is doing, if you keep giving them the flats they will keep going back to the flats over and over and that’s why so many people complain about cpu QB’s going 25/25. I get good, realistic stats on the cpu every game.

It feels like if I lose on Heisman I deserve to lose. The rubber banding was BAD in 25, but I think it’s not noticeable at all in 26. If you’re good at the game you’ll win, I don’t think it cheats much at all.

I’m not talking about rounds, or when you’re out with mates, but I’m sat in the pub here and someone who knew me that I didn’t really recognise bought me a pint, lovely stuff, thank you very much.

I was, however, planning on leaving after (And I will), and they’re also with someone else that knows me (Classic ‘Yiu were this height when I last seen you!!’ patter), so I feel a bit awkward just buying another pint.

But at the same time, I always do feel like it’s good juju to buy someone a pint back and usually do it. But I’ve also been bought a pint whilst having £9 in the bank and getting stressed out over it 😂

Curious what people think?

I’d love to play this game against people, but given there’s probably around 29 of us in Europe who play the game, you can’t find a non laggy match online unfortunately.

Like it’s up there with 2k11. I’ve been listening to Party Hard by Andrew W.K pretty much non stop for the last week.

I’m Irish, but randomly my Dad bought Madden 03 way back in the day and Ive been a football fan for 20 odd years now.

But seriously, what a fucking soundtrack. The nostalgia is insane.

This is the absolute biggest thing for me this year is the coaching carousel actually working right. They said it’s been fixed, but I’m curious has anyone seen it in action in any gameplay videos?

If they fix the carousel as well as the new depth for history, then I’m pretty sweet on Dynasty to be honest. There’s a few things obviously but so long as I can finish a season knowing I’ll actually be able to move teams, I’ll be happy.

Payroll cut off was on the 11th, even though I had specifically asked on Day 1 of this job did I have to worry about a payroll cut off and was told no.

I updated my bank details on the 11th, my old bank account was closed and I put in my new details, everything accepted. Sound, no worries.

Payday today, every single person is paid but me. Get on to payroll to be told they’ve sent my money to my old bank account and it hasn’t bounced back (it’s fully closed and I can’t even get through their customer support lines because my old account number is invalid - bank of Ireland - shitebags).

Is there any chance this can be sorted? I know everyone will say we don’t know message your payroll, but I’ve done that and they are unbearably slow at replying and my stress levels are going up by the minute.

Has anyone any similar experience?

I know the for the drivers irl it must drive them crazy, but in the game I just think it’s so fun. It adds a whole other layer of strategy that feels soooo satisfying when you master it

Like when you’ve got the battery down on a course your lap times fly up and when you’re perfectly recharging it it’s just a great feeling to get right

Big fan, although I do again concede that it’s perhaps not as fun when you’re trying not to bin it into a wall at 220mph

I also remapped battery up and down to face buttons on controller which makes it so much smoother too

I’d bloody like to hope they had. Given they’re one of two teams playing, I think the part they’ve had to play should be really substantial.

Trying to figure out what’s faster? I’m on Bahrain right now and I feel as if I can use a mix of both, although I do have to set battery to none/lico to get it back, but is there a preferable method? Or should I just stick with hot lap the whole lap and stop overthinking it? My second lap using 80/20 hot lap to boost seemed faster than my first lap, although that might also be because I don’t do practice for every track and this was my first and second lap of the day on Bahrain! 😂

Bought the game a few weeks ago, been having a fun time just doing random flights between point A and B, but that’s mostly because I heard how horribly broke career mode is.

I really want something like that, but don’t want to deal with the frustration of career mode if it’s just outright broken. I sene people mentioning add ons but I assume they’re all PC only.

Does anyone have any tools or tips on how to have some sort of career mode on the game?

I actually while typing this tried to complete the first PPL and I can’t because there’s no prompt after landing and stopping at the holdshort line 😂

Was the ITV coverage too expensive or what’s the craic? The RTE commentators are genuinely awful to begin with, now we’re having yanks commentate games? I understand they’re pulling it from elsewhere, but seriously? Why a yank? Surely there’s multiple other broadcasts around the world with non yank commentators.

Genuinely painful stuff, I’ve braved a 3am start to watch this and I’ve been rewarded with Uncle Sam and someone doing a poor Ally McCoist impression.
