On series X, look how bad the artifacting and shimmering is.

The smaller video screen here makes it look better than it is. In game it's shocking.

The resolution got massively downgraded when uploading idk why.

It feels like there's no real popular Halo game to play anymore.

Been playing Halo for nearly 20 years, played all the games, barely played much in the last few years cause there's no real popular game at the minute. Is infinite really playable for anyone outside the US. I'm from Australia and every game has 300+ ping, it's basically unplayable. I have the itch to play but there's really nothing. I've played MCC a stupendous amount of time, and I'm over playing halo 3 mp. It's great but it's 20 years old, like man we should be way past this. Played Campaign evolved and probs won't touch it again.

This game will be good but at the moment, it's really unfinished.

This should be early access. It's got a good core but it's completely unfinished. Issues I've noticed on Series X:

- Graphics are completely stuffed. Severe pop in and also extremely pixelated, there's literal squares all over the screen.

- The menus are really slow, server list takes like 30 seconds to load.

- Movement is unpolished, for example I jump over a rock and sometimes I just fling forward.

- Tactical map just feels annoying to navigate. Click on a garrison or something and if it's unavailable it just throws you back to the hq spawn point on the map very abruptly.

- Vehicles feel bad to use.

- Needs some bullet magnetism on controller.

- Needs mnk on console.

Halo's future is outsourcing + other rumours by Rebs Gaming

- 15+ studios worked on building campaign evolved. Involves everything from top to bottom, ie. Enemy ai, level design, gameplay systems, literally everything.

- Rumour that Activision could be making a Halo game.

- Supposedly Activision built a basic prototype Halo game to test.

- Sledgehammer games would lead the Halo game.

- Idea is that other outsourced studios build the game to speed up development times while Halo Studios work on making content for the game.

Genuinely, what is the main reason you think this game flopped?

For me it's cause it's barely an extraction shooter in the sense that it's based around pvpve. There's barely any pve in this game, it's just an arena shooter where you can bring in loot from past matches.

There's no real pve loop that is rewarding and fun, and it's completely negated by the fact that you can just sprint around the map treating it like an arena shooter and just wipe squads pretty easily. Why bother spending countless hours doing Cryo keys when you just rush a squad 2 mins into cryo who might have the compilers bis weapon drop and kill them? The compiler boss fight is the only real pve loop in the game and it's basically pointless even doing when your squad can just farm other squads and probably get the weapon.

If the pve endgame loop was much more detailed and useful, this game would have players, but it's basically just an arena shooter with extra fluff. And then if it's just an arena shooter with extra steps, it's not a very good one cause the extra fluff just ruins the experience, so it's a failed extraction shooter and not a very good arena shooter.

There was one...

Foretold in the old ages. One who would rise in the west and bring about an age of prosperity, strength, balance and freedom. One who would be wise, strong, abound with knowledge and wisdom. The time has come. We are in the age of this ONE. This ONE didn't chase the call, it called, and the ONE answered. This ONE is the Lisan Al Gaib, Josh Fraser. He leads and we follow. He leads us to paradise. We chant his name, he humbly acknowledges. He knows what he must do and he will never stop until he leads us to the infinite expanse. The realm where heroes live, in eternal bliss and glory.

Daredevil The Man without Fear Review as a complete new comer to comics

I've never really read much comics in my life, so recently I decided to buy a few comics and start a collection. My first read was The Man Without Fear and it was really awesome. I thought maybe at the end there would be a little of him in the suit but it was still really good. I loosely knew the origin story but there were a lot of cool details and story that I didn't know. It's funny seeing him in a regular suit just beating the hell out of people.

I loved it and the artwork is amazing. The last panel is so good. Now onto Daredevil Born Again.

What other Daredevil comics do you all recommend? He's my favorite Marvel hero.

In all honesty, if all the defenders on the marathon sub just played the game, it wouldn't be near shutdown.

There's more people defending the game in the sub than actual players.

I think Dean should win the rising star over Jagga even though I think it'll go to Jagga

Don't get me wrong, Jagga has been awesome for a first year player, but I think it's kind of like the Brownlow, how the mids always look more flashy so they get the votes. I think that is why Jagga will get it over Dean.

Dean deserves it a little more because I can't remember a first year defender being so dominant and actually being the number 1 key for most of it. He's kept so many defenders to a goal or none. It's insane. Even weitering wasn't this good early.

World of Warcraft classic+ readying for beta release datamine

- previously was a Dev server, datamines have been going on for a year showing that it's been tested for quite a while.

- now it's been turned into a vendor server. It's still private but vendor now means it's opening to testers, probably meaning an alpha but more likely a beta will be soon.

- probably an announcement at BlizzCon, almost certainly. Devs have basically confirmed it to be so through subtle jokes and comments.

Campaign evolved prequel missions issues

Tldr: you're tasked to write a ce prequel campaign. I don't think U would ever come up with a story as lack lustre and boring as these missions.

I don't wanna come across as a hater that just blindly hate trains whatever is the next station but these prequel missions are really worryingly bad. There's so many issues with the plot and ideas that they implement which show that 343 are just unable to comprehend what made Halo good in the first place.

The main campaign I think is redone very well, I think the mission layout changes all land, so credit is due there but the worrying thing is the completely new campaign is just a complete miss.

I just don't get why we even waste time on Williams and her plot. I'm not gonna even go into the people banging on about it being woke, that's not the issue, also people going on about ODSTs disliking Spartans are also missing the point. That is irrelevant even if it's lore accurate. Why are we wasting time on this pointless character who following 343s track record, will probably never have their story continued? We have 3 short missions, why are we not just getting chief and Johnson backstory without fluff?

Chief basically one man armies the covenant, flood and sentinels to destroy the halo in ce. Why does he even need help destroying this little ship? We don't need Williams, Chief can just do it. People might seem like this is a nit pick but it's not. Like I said, chief solos the whole entire ce and destroys everything by himself and blows up halo, this little side mission prequel should be a breeze, he would have done this by himself in like half a mission from ce.

Also, just the missions. Chief knowing what a prophet is this early, I'm not certain but doesn't that ruin the story? Someone correct me here. Also why in one mission when chief and Johnson storm the room throwing nades and shooting, once the prophet speaks, they both just stop and listen, as the prophet just introduces his whole squad? It's weird, like some comic book villain introducing his team to you. Ive never seen that in halo. Chief would not stop mid fight and let the prophet just start Introducing his team.

Idk, it doesn't give me any confidence 343 can make any good story. I think they genuinely fundamentally don't understand what made Halo in the past. They seem to just overcomplicate things and miss the mark across the board. It's not rocket science, chief gets gun, chief runs through cool settings and missions that feels epic, chief blows things up, chief barely speaks, chief wins. Like genuinely, the og trilogy is that.

Rebs gaming follow up on future of Halo

Some isn't actually leaks and is just rebs own digging into LinkedIn profiles.

The key points: - Games are in the concept stage right now because campaign evolved needed help and previous games in development were cancelled to put attention to ce.

- Rumour that there's a mp project further in development than thought but he's waiting for reputable sources to provide proof of this.

- Halo 2 remake is in development but there's uncertainty whether it will be finished.

- Studio art director posted on LinkedIn a couple days ago that "the fight may be finished- but the legend is only beginning again. I sincerely hope this game leads to even more great things in the future." Somewhat validating that there is uncertainty whether 2 will be finished but also uncertainty with the other games in concept stage.

- Creative director led a team that prototyped a ce multiplayer with the hybrid reach and ue5 engine, and this likely will be the base for the next multiplayer.

- Next mp game is likely a standard arena Halo.

- Next campaign likely few years away, it's still in early concept stage.

- If everything goes to plan, a halo 2 remake, a mp game, and a campaign project are what's next.

Basically, we are probably a while away from the next game and this probably is the biggest gap between main games in Halo history.

Honest review of Campaign Evolved from a long time fan

Pros

- graphics are great.

- gameplay is best in the 343 era, I hope this gameplay is what the next multiplayer is.

- although the Cutscene performance is bad, the scenes themselves are mostly really cool. Personal favourite is probably the Jenkins recording.

- new weapons fit in very well.

- the mission layout changes all land well and improve the annoying repetitiveness of the og game.

- sprint is perfectly fine in this game, there's nothing that it ruins, maybe you can speed through missions a bit easier but seeing sprint on ce kinda solidified it for me that sprint is not the major issue with 343 games.

Cons

- Cutscene performance is bad.

- no mp.

- operation meteorite feels like a mini teaser for a game we should have got.

- operation meteorite isn't all too interesting. I don't think it's as bad as some people have said.

- some dialogue throughout felt badly written and or a memberberry.

- operation meteorite didn't really fill me with confidence that 343 are able to write anything good and interesting. The new prophet story could be good if they follow up with it on the halo 2 remake. Hopefully that's not dropped.

Honestly, the remake is very good, I can't find too many major flaws. It is ce still with a new coat of paint with some helpful additions and changes. But I just can't shake the feeling that it sorta feels pointless and a missed opportunity to actually do something new. I've played it already and I probably won't touch this for ages, not cause it's bad but mp is what makes me play for years.

It just sucks that we are half a decade after infinite and this is the only game we have since. Again, it's well done for what it is but Halo really needs some new mp that is actually done well and isn't dead within a few months, that has consistent updates and launches ready to go.

It just feels like Halo doesn't know which way to go. One game we are fully going one way, the next is undoing that, now a remake, then whatever else they do next. There's no vision. How many times are we gonna remake the same game? We honestly should never be remaking games, at the most only once. Each game should be a progression of the story and enhancing the games, not going back and redoing the past to try "fix" the franchise and reset. We are only at this point cause the last 15 years have disintegrated the playerbase to a shred of its former self and Halo as a brand is irrelevant.

Campaign review score in isolation(not taking into account any other halo games and ignoring the state of the franchise)= 7/10 with potential to be an 8 if performance is better.

Campaign review score with context of the franchise and it's current state= 5/10.

Technical Halo leaks future Halo plans/projects

In light of the recent leaks that went viral that Halo studios had 0 games in development, technical Halo has dropped a few tweets on X with info that he claims is from a halo studios Dev with an NDA.

There were a few tweets but technical Halo was told(presumably by the Dev or someone at halo studios) to take them down. The only tweet remaining is this one that has less details.

Here's info from the original full series of tweets.

- Dev claims that the recent reports are overblown and not "that true".

- A campaign is in early development.

- A mp already in production.

- He says the Pierre information of him being harassing, aggressive, etc. are "very one sided" and not true.
