Hey guys, I need some help choosing a mousepad. I’ll list the cloth pads I can afford below.

My main requirement is tracking performance. I want something smooth enough to make precise micro-adjustments while tracking, but not so fast or slippery that it makes my aim feel shaky. I also play Kovaak’s and grind benchmarks, so I’d like something that performs well for aim training as well as games.

I’ve used a SkyPad for quite a while, and I can still aim better in games like CS2 and Valorant on it, so I’m thinking I could probably adapt to a relatively fast cloth pad as well. That said, I just want slightly enough control for precision aiming but mainly for tracking smoothness and speed.

From my own research, the Artisan Zero Soft seems like a good match for what I’m looking for. From what I’ve seen, the ATK Sky XSoft seems to be one of the closer ATK options, while potentially being a little faster. My understanding is that it should still retain enough control for tactical shooters while being better suited to tracking.

However, I’m mainly interested in maximizing tracking performance, rather than specifically getting something similar to the Zero. I’d also like something that works well with sleeves and has a consistently smooth surface.

The pads I can afford are:

Which one would you guys recommend for my requirements, and why? I’d especially appreciate comparisons from people who have actually used these pads for tracking/aim training.

Suggesting anything else would be useless as I'm only interested in these.

So my question is, is there a filter or mod that I can use without needing another software or needing to use the in-game options of either SSAO or HBAO+ but getting the same quailty without the performance hit?

The main rank we get on top, is it meant to show the average of all the ranks we have?

I have plat, diamond, jade and masters but my main rank is diamond, so how many jades should I get to get a jade rank as my average.

How does this work?

I really wanted to try out a fingertip mod for the Haste 2 Wired as a fingertip mouse because I love the overall performance of this mouse.

I've seen someone make a fingertip mod for the VXE R1 SE but I've not heard of anyone making one for the R1 PRO.

Not big on audio stuff but I like messing with settings that sometimes make the songs I listen to sound better haha.

I've seen a significant performance uplift compared to my old i7-4790 + H81M, but my current problem is CPU temperatures. I'm using a small 2-heat-pipe cooler with an 80mm fan, so the Ryzen 5 3600 gets fairly hot.

I'm upgrading soon to a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO, but I'd still like to undervolt the CPU. I've always undervolted and slightly overclocked my GPU and have gotten lower temperatures without sacrificing performance, so I'd like to do something similar with the 3600.

My main goal is to reduce voltage while maintaining or improving the current boost clocks, since PBO is enabled. I don't want to simply lower the CPU's frequency.

Should I undervolt through Ryzen Master or BIOS? If BIOS is preferable, should I use PBO + Curve Optimizer, a voltage offset, or something else?

Any advice on the correct approach and stability testing would be appreciated.

I just received the Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite Rev 1.3 from TechArc.pk and I noticed the following things;

1. No CMOS battery

2. Some oily texture yet doesn't stick to my fingers on the back of the board

3. White dots on the mbios chip and another one on top top.

4. There was no official seal on the box as it was opened and clearly used

Explanation;

The guy on WhatsApp said that batteries are required to be taken out from the Chinese airports and that the glue/oily stains on the back of the board are because of Gigabyte's soldering residue.

They are clearly lying.

I asked for a replacement or compensation and they told me they'd call back at 8pm. These guys barely ever pick up calls or reply on time. The least they could've done is include the damn battery.

If there are people who have bought things like this from them or in general then could you please tell me if this is normal? The sticker on the heatsink is there but the board clearly looks used.

Honestly I didn't even know how daisy chains with the molex cables even worked until today 🤣

I know it's not the best and the PSU isn't great either with shorter cables but I think it's better than before and is okay for a first time management.

The front of the case usually stays clean but this is the first time doing the backside.

Also since I'm changing the motherboard, I thought why not.

Was checking and pretty much couldn't find any listing of a 1060 6gb on fb market place so I was wondering if people could give me rough estimates as to how much I can sell this card for.

Planning on upgrading so this would help.

After moving from Islamabad to Multan, my ISP, Nayatel (Pakistan), told me that my existing connection had to be closed in Islamabad because they couldn't transfer the same account/connection to another city.

I brought the same router I had been using for several years in Islamabad with me because I didn't want to unnecessarily buy another router from them for ~$200.

Around 5 years ago, I subscribed to their service then called Optimus, which was supposedly meant to improve ping. In reality, it didn't seem to do anything other than give me an option to select between "Eastern" and "Western" routing, and neither option made any noticeable difference.

However, I clearly remember having Nayatel open the necessary ports / NAT for me before I ever subscribed to Optimus.

The current problem

Today, while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), I noticed that my NAT type is Strict. For the past several weeks, I've also been experiencing unstable Discord connections, including connection drops and sudden ping spikes.

I contacted Nayatel support and was told that I supposedly have Double NAT, and that the only way for them to provide an Open NAT is for me to purchase their Optimus subscription.

This doesn't make sense to me because, as mentioned above, I remember having my NAT/ports opened by Nayatel years before I ever subscribed to Optimus.

What I've already tried

Enabled UPnP on my router.

Enabled DMZ and entered my PC's local IP address.

Verified that the IP was actually my PC's IP using ipconfig in CMD.

Restarted the router and not pc after making the changes.

I still had my previous IPv4 port-forwarding rules saved in the router from when I lived in Islamabad, so I restored/used those as well.

I even reinstalled Windows and manually recreated the required ports in both inbound and outbound Windows Firewall rules.

NAT is still Strict.

So I'm wondering if this is actually a CGNAT/double-NAT issue on Nayatel's side, or if there is something else I can configure myself to get around it.

The support experience hasn't exactly given me much confidence either. The first representative kept going back to his supervisor to ask what to do, and another Nayatel representative apparently told me to enter 8.8.8.8 as my IP address rather than using it as a DNS server.

So I'm fairly convinced I'm not getting particularly useful technical information from support.

Is there anything I can check on my router/PC to confirm whether I'm behind CGNAT or another form of double NAT? And if I am, is there any way to get Open NAT without paying for the Optimus subscription?

I went back to visit COD MW 2019 and I've always wanted to find a solution for it's massive game size being a pain to keep, even though I think there's not enough in the game itself that requires so much and they just left it the way it was after ruining warzone.

Now the supposed "Base Game" alone requires around 70GB and then after adding the "Multiplayer" option pushes it up to 121GB which is nuts.

I'm sure there is a way to debloat/delete most of the game files without causing problems and that's what I need help with.

Also, what if I only download the "Base Game", what does that even do?

Location: Near Model Town & Bosan Road

Newly shifted, about a month ago and tons of electrical problems in this house (on rent).

I teach and game professionally so a stable electrical and internet connection is a must, and I'm having problems with fluctuations in my monitors and sudden shutdown issues in my pc from other components in the house turning on and off.

It's exhausting as I've tried multiple things, changed wires, tested different components on several different ports in the house but the same issues continue.

Could someone please recommend some good electricians that you have experience with in this area that are qualified enough to actually look into this problem rather than just coming in, drinking water and leaving with 1k in their pocket after saying "we'll ask someone else"?
