I just learned today I get a good discount of UNV cameras. I have been shopping for a solid camera for License plate capture, and this could be my chance for an affordable option.

Reddit works on my desktop fine.
Today my reddit app on android ( samsung) had me not logged in.
WHen I click on reset password it something like "uh oh, something went wrong and we arent sure what"
I cleared cache, I cleared data didnt help.
I uninstalled and reinstalled. Didnt help
Thru the process of trying different things, it told me I used up my reset attempts.
Can anyone suggest how to make my android device work with reddit?
UPDATE : I tried the email login link - That got me into reddit, but I have user names among my reddit account, and it only gives me access to the OTHER one. So, I dont have a clue what to do
UPDATE 2: I typed in my username instead of email for the password reset. It allowed a password reset email to be sent out. But when I clicked the link, it went back to the "uh oh, something went wrong and we arent sure what"

Any idea why the rear door on the drivers side is always locked? the passanger rear door doesnt do this. The driver has to hit unlock to free up the driver rear door.
I installed a new NIC in my computer. I wish to make my cameras on their own physical network.
NIC 1 - 192.168.1.101 This is for internet access.... this is the network for my entire house except the cameras.
NIC 2 - 192.168.2.101 This is the network all my cameras will be on. POE switch feed all cameras and also plugs into NIC2. I dont have a router on this network
In my camera settings I set
IP address : 192.168.2.5
Subnet : 255.255.255.0
Gateway: ????????????? - I must enter something in this field to save the settings
DNS: STATIC It wont let me select AUTO, auto is greyed out
Prefered DNS : ??????? - I must enter something in this field to save the settings
Alternate DNS: ???????? - I must enter something in this field to save the settings
Please help with the question marks.
I thought the gateway is typically your router? ( I am not using one).
I thought the DNS was for routing internet traffic? My physical network will not be on the internet.

I wish to use home assistant to turn on two PWM fans installed inside my heat registry ( aircondition vent ) to move more air into a bedroom ( that gets poor air flow) when its bathroom fan turns on. I am aware that there are many ACboosters and heat boosters that drop in, but none of them look to be comptible with HA.
With that said, I my idea is two use two PWM fans. HA can easily turn those on and off. They will also allow heat/AirCon to pass thru on normal day to day operation. But my concern is, as the fans spin from day to day operation, are they being damaged? Is this going to generate voltage?
Perhaps someone else knows a HA alternative to this problem?

I have 12 Reolink cameras of various models. They were a bit of a struggle to get them to work with blue iris, but they eventually did. I need 2 more cameras. I dont need the latest and greatest hardware. They are mostly to check if I closed my gate and if I closed my shed.
Reolink RLC-510 is $70CAD ( $50 USD ), which is their cheapest camera.
What is comparable for the same price or cheaper? I dont want to spend more.
It always baffles me that reolink is easily the best bang for your buck, but they are kind of annoying with blue iris.
I have determined I want a zigbee adapter for my HA I am prepared to get setup. It seems to be the first step.

I am trying to find a small/micro device that I can wire behind a dumb/basic 120Vac light switch that will notify HA that the switch is powered up. I wish to remotely turn on a fresh air intake fan when I turn on my bathroom fan. I am thinking a z-wave device will do this? I am visualizing a bathroom fan switch that turns on the fan, also sends a signal wirelessly to a hub, I program the hub to turn on the fresh air intake fan.
What ecosystem and product line should I be looking at?

My house too sealed up, and has near negative pressure. My bathroom fans dont flow well. So I wish to turn on fan that sucks fresh air into my basement to slightly pressure the house.
No I dont want a make up air unit. No I dont want a hrv.
Is there a fan switch option to remotely turn on my fresh air fan when a bathroom fan turns on? Likely a wireless option?
The distribution ( mode selector ) (determines if the cabin air flow is directed at your body/feet/windshield) icon doesnt change to reflect the current setting selected. It always shows feet/body/windshield regardless of what is actually selected.
Minor compliant that you have to press this icon, look at the newly opened window , close the newly opened window to determine the current setting.

My car used to turn on, wireless android auto fired up and popped up on my cars screen.
Since 3 days ago it doesnt. I have to click the green android auto button on the car screen for it to get going.
Any idea how to revert back to it being automatic?
I am older, want to get back into biking after 20 years of not biking. I dont know how to look at bike specs and determine what is good or bad.
Is the trek Marlin+ 6 hardtail decent? Its priced at about 3500cad ( 2500 USD ). It is the best priced mountain ebike in my city.
I mostly am concerned about reliability and cost of ownership. I basically want the honda civic of ebikes.
Can you suggest a comparable entry level mountain ebike that maybe more reliable?
