Housing doesn’t necessarily cost less elsewhere you just get more for your money

I feel like people dream about moving because they can’t afford $2m for a condo or small house in SF

But I’m literally looking at places in Barcelona and Paris and London thinking “Europe is cheaper“ and $2m is what you need to also buy a 2-3 bed apartment in those cities anywhere nice and safe.

Maybe the apartment is slightly nicer or in a slightly nicer area but it’s still $2m at the end of the day.

What is a cruise collection?

Looked through the Gucci cruise collection looks and not even understanding what that is.

It‘s supposed to be a warm mid-season collection? Why were all the men’s looks just black leather and black suits?

Where to travel to with a high end budget?

Mid-30s American. Fortunate to have money at this point in my life for high end travel but don't go on long distance holidays that often.

Where would you go if you had a big budget for a week long trip in Europe if money wasn't an issue? I guess Mykonos in August comes to mind.

Housing appreciation looks less impressive in SF when you factor in inflation

CPI calc says inflation is up 35% since 2018.

The normies on here would look at this sale in SF as say "oh my gawd why did this sell for 40% over list?! the market is crazyyyy!"

Then you look and see 1) it sold for $1.5m in 2018.

And 2) that $1.5m in 2018 is equivalent to $2.02m today.

So this home didn't even keep up with inflation.

How do you sell clothes on Facebook Marketplace in the city?

I've never sold anything but I have some nice high end designer men's clothing that I've listed in the last few days (think Acne Studios, Japanese brands).

Everything is gently worn. I'm listing at a very reasonable price around 30% of retail plus tax and including links to the item with sizing info.

But people just keep messaging me asking about sizing or low ball offers?

If you have sold clothing successfully how do you do it? I really am just not going to sell something to someone asking a bunch of questions outside of agreeing to buy at the stated price and meet somewhere.
