Cleaning a chiffon dress at home tips?

I found the perfect dress in my size at the thrift store for a whopping $15. It fits and looks great. It has a couple small marks on the back that look like then can be easily removed (I think it’s crust from food?? lol) and then some dirt on the very bottom from probably touching the ground. Nothing major. Obviously I want to do this at home since I only paid $15. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Beginner tips for someone who’s never stayed in an all inclusive?

First all inclusive trip planned at Pueblo Bonito Rose in Cabo San Lucas at the end of the month. I have no idea what to expect. What are some things you wish you knew or were pleased to discover?

Couple M/F with no kids.

I need your ultimate late night sweet treat recs!

What are your go to (chocolatey preferred) sweet treats you make yourself when you’re compelled to get out of bed and search for something sweet, but have already reached/almost reached your goal for the day?

Best affordable option to get from the airport to our resort? Resorts shuttle stops running before our flight lands.

I’m staying at Pueblo Bonito Rose for context. Flight lands around 3pm.

I was being followed for a bit on my route. Called police and, I shit you not, got escorted the remainder of my route by a sheriff.

Long story short, I realized I was seeing the same vehicle over and over the course of about 30 minutes. I tried to rationalize it in my head at first, since I kept randomly seeing them on passing streets and such and not like behind me, but when they did a u-turn after I did, my gut was screaming I wasn’t safe.

Called the local non emergency dispatch, and they had me meet up with two officers from the sheriffs department. One went out to look for the vehicle (which they found) and the other OFFERED TO ESCORT ME THE REST OF THE WAY. Sure it only took like 10 minutes max because it was the end of my route, but that meant more to me than I could ever explain. I was in genuine shock he offered… told him he really didn’t have to, but he insisted it was no big deal.

I’ve been brutally failed by NM police in the past, so this really helped spark some hope that I can rely on them.

Organizations/agencies that can help seniors navigate documentation processes such as getting a Real ID?

My 86 year old grandmother is having a hard time locating marriage paperwork to show her last name changes in order to get a real ID, since her BC name is different than her current drivers license and SSC.

She likely just needs to get these documents from the local courts since she was married in NY in each of her 3 marriages, but for someone her age this can seem like a very difficult task without guidance.

Are there any organizations locally that can help her with these things? Is it as easy as doing it online so I can just do it from another state?

I see this issue brought up here a ton. I’m not sure if it’s just my district, which consists of over 35 schools which I’ve subbed at most of… but I’ve never had an issue asking for a neighboring teacher to have eyes on my class while I use the restroom. When there’s no neighboring teacher I call the front office and ask for coverage.

Why are people being forced to wait until lunch breaks or specials to use the restroom? Are your districts just complete garbage and no one will cover a classroom for you while you are there? Are you not realizing that’s an option? 😅

Just did the balayage so hair is much dryer than normal which is probably adding to the issue highly.

Current routine: wash twice a week.

I use EverPure bond repair shampoo, and a purple shampoo as needed.

I condition by switching between the EverPure bond repair conditioner and a BioSilk moisturizing conditioner.

I use the RedKen ABC leave in after every wash and will let my hair dry about 80% before I blow it out using a ton of heat protectant spray. I’ll wear it like that until wash day, using a flat iron to touch up spots as needed with lots of heat protectant.

I’ve been wanting to switch from heat and wear my hair more natural. I sleep with a satin bonnet and it helps keep my hair from getting tangled when it’s curly but it’ll still be all kinked and stuff in the AM and require a misting to go back to regular shape.

What can I use in it to help with frizz but also not require being washed out for a few days?
