What are some of the best decisions xbox has made?

What are some of the best decisions xbox have made, and some of the worst decisions they have made?

What are you looking forward to? What are you not looking foward to?

Alan Partridge is ageing like fine wine

Out of all the heavyweight comedy characters from the ’90s and 2000s, Alan Partridge is the one who seems to get funnier with age.

David Brent mostly just feels cringe to me now, and even Borat/Sacha Baron Cohen has lost a lot of what used to make me laugh.

But Partridge is different I can go back to him and watch his new stuff again and again and still genuinely laugh out loud.

Eurgh what a bitch

What was her problem? Constantly putting holden down, judging him then all of a sudden breaking up with him

Current or former MGS Guards at Whitehall

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to hear from anyone who currently works, or has previously worked, as a Ministry of Defence Guard Service (MGS) Officer at Whitehall.

I've read the job description, but I have a few concerns that I'd like some honest answers to from people who have actually done the job.

Is the shift pattern as demanding as some people say?

How often do you end up working five 12-hour shifts in a row?

Does the "flexible week" regularly change your shifts at short notice?

Is the role mostly standing and patrolling, or do you get opportunities to sit down during a shift?

How physically demanding is the job over the long term?

Is the management generally supportive?

Do you enjoy the role overall, or would you choose something different if you had the chance?

Is there good progression into other Civil Service roles?

I'd really appreciate honest feedback, both positive and negative. I'm just trying to get a realistic picture of what day-to-day work life is like.

Thanks in advance.

First time to Polish shop in UK

I stopped by my local Polish shop and picked these up.

This is my first time trying Sokołów Kiełbasa, Sokołów Śląska, Żubrówka Biała vodka

What's the best way to eat these sausages?

Do you fry them, grill them, or eat them cold?

What do you usually have with them?

Also, what do you think of Żubrówka Biała? Is it a decent vodka, and what's the best way to drink it?

I'm interested in trying more Polish food, so if there are any must-try products, let me know.

Thanks

Was RDJ the best choice to play Doctor Doom?

Im not talking acting wise, he gave such an iconic performance as Tony Stark/Iron Man that it's hard for me to separate him from that role.

It just doesn't feel right seeing him return as a completely different character, especially one as important as Doctor Doom.

I'm sure there are plenty of talented actors who could have played Doom without that association.

Who would you have cast as Doctor Doom instead?

How big of a deal is Avengers: Doomsday?

I'm a casual Marvel fan, so I'm looking for some perspective.

I know Avengers: Doomsday is bringing together the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four, which sounds huge. But just how important is this movie in MCU history?

Is it on the level of Infinity War/Endgame, or potentially even bigger? What makes it such a massive event?

Does anyone else remember to claim these every day?

I swear Xbox Rewards is starting to troll me at this point.

Almost every day I get a notification saying, "Quest completed! Claim them now," but half the time I forget until hours later, or I clear the notification by accident.

Does anyone here actually claim their Rewards points every day, or are you as forgetful as me? Any tips for staying on top of them, or do you just ignore them altogether?

What makes a possession horror film genuinely scary to you?

I think Hereditary has to be one of the most disturbing possession horror films I've seen.

Spoilers ahead.

From the little girl losing her head to the mother crawling across the wall and ceiling, there were so many scenes that genuinely unsettled me. It was creepy, disturbing, and a lot of fun to watch.

What is it that makes a possession film scary for you? And please recommend a one incase I havent seen it.

Hello, some advice please.

Hello ladies and gents, looking for a bit of advice.

I recently bought this 2010 Honda Civic Si with 62,000 miles. The previous owner looked after it well, and overall it's in great condition for its age. There are just a few dents, scratches and stone chips, which I've uploaded photos of.

I'd like to freshen it up and keep it looking its best. It's currently in the garage having the air conditioning looked at because it's only blowing hot air.

Before this I had a BMW X1, but I sold it because I didn't really need an SUV anymore. The running costs weren't worth it, and I've realised I much prefer old-school manual cars.

My plan is to keep this Civic until the engine finally gives up.

My question is: how much would you realistically invest in a car like this? At what point would you say it's too much? I'm happy to spend money maintaining it properly, but I'm curious what other long-term Civic owners think is a sensible limit.

Halo newbie - Is this the best place to start?

Had gamepass for a momth but didnt use it enough to justify keeping it, however i did come across this little gem. And its the only game in a while, where ive sat playing and forgot time, so I went and brought a phycal copy #LongLivePhysicalMedia

I have a series x, not sure if I should buy the new upgrade coming out or not.

****EDIT: Thanks everyone for all the advice. The consensus seems to be to start with Halo: Combat Evolved, play the games in release order, and use the original graphics for CE. I'll also grab Reach and ODST later.

Really appreciate all the recommendations. Tonight's plan is simple: snacks and Halo, Looking forward to finally seeing what I've been missing.

Appreicate it.

Women in successful traditional relationships: what makes it work?

I'm asking this from the perspective of a man who values traditional relationships and wants to understand what women in successful traditional marriages and relationships genuinely look for.

What qualities does your husband or partner have that make you trust, respect, and admire him? What does he do that makes you feel safe, supported, and happy embracing a traditional relationship?

I'd really appreciate honest answers from women who are living this lifestyle. I'm not looking to debate anyone's choices, I simply want to learn what makes a traditional relationship thrive from a woman's perspective.

Why haven't we seen a AAA serial killer crime thriller game yet?

I'm a big fan of crime and serial killer TV shows like Mindhunter, Dexter, and True Detective, and it got me wondering why we haven't really seen a major AAA game built around that concept.

I'm not talking about an over-the-top action game or something supernatural. I mean a grounded, realistic psychological crime thriller with a heavy focus on investigation, atmosphere, and cat-and-mouse gameplay.

If one were made, which perspective would you rather play from?

A detective or FBI investigator trying to identify and catch a killer by collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, building profiles, and following leads.

The serial killer, where the gameplay focuses on stealth, planning, avoiding detection, and staying one step ahead of the investigation.

Or a game that switches between both perspectives, letting your actions as one character directly affect the other.

Personally, I think a 1970s setting would be the sweet spot. No smartphones, no DNA databases, limited CCTV, and detectives relying much more on interviews, physical evidence, intuition, and old-fashioned police work. It would create a much more tense and immersive experience.

The atmosphere could be incredible rain-soaked streets, neon signs, old American sedans, analogue technology, newspapers, payphones, smoky bars, and a dark soundtrack. The setting alone could make the world feel unique compared to modern open-world games.

The gameplay could revolve around choices, investigation, profiling, and suspense rather than constant combat. Think L.A. Noire meets Mindhunter, with branching investigations where your decisions actually change the outcome.

Would you play a game like this? If so, which perspective do you think would make for the better experience, and what mechanics would you want to see?
