Decided to order takeaway at 9pm. Ordered Dave’s Hot Chicken. It arrived at 9:45, I take the bag to my house, only to realise that it’s someone else’s order, and according to the receipt on the bag, it was an order from 3pm. wtf? How does a 6-hour old bag of chicken end up getting sent to me?

TV guide says Zandvoort race replay is 8:30pm. But I just logged in to Sky Sports F1 and it’s currently showing Indy car with 30 laps to go.

Do you think this current heatwave will be the final heatwave of the summer? Or do you think another 30c heatwave will occur later in August / September?

My company does not pay sick pay. So if i take a day off and call in sick I don’t get paid.

I got sick this weekend, have lost my voice, have a headache, no energy, generally feel like I’ve been hit by a truck.

My manager has just had a go at me, saying that I am not being productive enough today/yesterday, and by coming in to work while ill I’m having a negative effect on the business and potentially making other people sick.

I just said, well I don’t get paid to sit at home and rest. I’m also conscious that I already had two days off sick this year, which my manager said if there’s a third occasion then it will trigger disciplinary action.

I earn about £3500/month after tax so a sick day effectively costs me about £170/day. I can’t afford to be off sick, I need to pay my bills.

Who do you think is right?

The only Nimrods showing I can find is for 7pm tomorrow. Which is sadly the same time as my Odyssey 70mm IMAX showing that I booked a month ago.

I’m struggling to find any showings of The Odyssey that aren’t almost full, even a couple weeks from now. The only seats remaining are at the front.

What is the view like from the front rows? I haven’t been to the IMAX before and struggling to get a sense for it from pictures. In Some cinemas it’s quite watchable from the front, in others it’s impossible.
