Question on starting out

I got 2 "fair" goldfish and went out and bought a 20 gallon tank and filter and the whole nine yards. I figured "for now I'll not get any plants".

Well, i don't want to do water changes every 2 weeks do to Nitrate being high, so I ask, what kind of plants/starter plants can i put in my tank to prevent this?

Square D Dual function breaker keeps tripping randomly (mostly in the middle of night)

I have about a 5 year old house but in the last 2 years I have been dealing with extremely random (mostly sometime in the middle of the night, with no load at all) the dual function (purple) breaker will trip. Sometimes this happens once a week, today it actually happened twice in one day (while we were sleeping and while we were away at work).

This breaker controls the lights/outlets and smoke detectors in my house.

Any places on where to start? Also want to note, this is the only breaker in my panel that is a dual function for some reason...the rest are all just AFCI (White).

Your “go to” peanut butter brand for Oatmeal?

Or something similar to Peanut Butter (Nutella, etc…)

Recently I discovered a product called cocomo coconut peanut butter which I love putting in my morning oats.

Can this be turned off?

This is annoying and takes forever to disappear ( I don’t use the LG remote)

Where does this unplugged album rate when compared to some of the other classics?

Curious if people put this at the top with the greats (Nirvana, AiC etc…)

Printing out of channel 2 issue

I have a Kobra X with Age Pro 2 hooked up as well. my channel 2 is very close to the end of the roll but "loose" enough in the spool that it should print a little bit before running out. For some reason when I start a print on it every time it will "retract" out of the print head and print air. I can cancel and push the filament back down but it will just repeat not printing.

As far as I know, every other channel prints just fine, has anyone experienced this for themselves?

Shark carpet cleaner solution question?

So I know basically everyone in here is against home carpet cleaning (especially probably Shark). With that said, please keep the negative comments to yourself.

With that said, my Shark carpet xpert states to fill the water to the water line then fill to the concentrate line with the solution. When doing this and cleaning my carpet I can tell its way to much solution (my carpet seems a bit sticky afterwards).

Is it normal to ignore and put in way less solution than maker suggests?

Leviton releasing new line of Decora smart switch/dimmer.

15A Wi-Fi Decora Smart Switch | D315S-1BW | Products

So first off, these are my favorite dimmer/switch eco system, however, these are a nightmare when it comes to 4 way wired installs. Even being forced into buying companion switches for 3 way install sucks (even though I have a few rooms in my house with this setup.) Ultimately, I wish I could just use the switches with a dumb switch like so many other systems.

With that said, this system is rock solid and I never have any issues with any of my switches/lights I am using in my house.

I have been patiently waiting for the gen 3's to come out hoping for one fix.....To get rid of the companion switch! But it looks like it did not happen of course.

So, what is the point of the gen 3's really? I don't see any difference really coming from the 2nd gen.

what a complete letdown from Leviton. Guess I need to look elsewhere for the rocker style switches that will work as well with HomeKit (and no I do not want to use Home assistant.)

Sleep earbuds recommendations?

What do you guys recommend for good sleep earbuds? I tried a very early version of Ankor's soundcore and did not like them (have the newer versions improved a lot?) I also know of Ozlo but those have VERY mixed reviews. Have they maybe gotten a lot better with firmware updates?

How to dodge enemies with grace carrying girl.

Just want to know if I’m missing something, I am now past the part running through cell block to the elevator but thank god I had full life. Is it expected to just try to plow through enemies and have them grab you on the way? Or what’s the strategy here?

Door corner adhesive strips

I had quite a bit of light showing in my bottom corner, i tried butting a few of these against the door trim and light was still showing. Is the way i have it in the picture acceptable? Seems to be the only way zero light shows.~~ ~~

Do you turn basement sensors off in comfort settings?

I have a swing of about 7 degrees which really effects my overall temp. Lately I just decided to omit my basement sensor from my other sensors upstairs as I don't care about it as much.

Do you guys do this as well? If so do you do it in summer only or both Winter and Summer?

Question about "daisy chaining" monitors.

This is kind of a long shot but lets say I have an LG monitor that I use HDMI 1 on a windows PC and HDMI 2 on a Mac. Is there any way that I can buy another monitor (maybe another LG) to have the monitor auto recognize to match HDMI inputs or will I always have to switch inputs on both monitors?

If so any other way around this?
