Haven’t tried any other products but been hooked on these shots from Dunnes, €1.15 last time if memory serves. Not sure if they actually are that gut friendly but they’re divine! Might try making a mocha with one, probably iced since I feel like it could curdle.

Got this scald three days ago and some people are telling me to see a doctor and some aren’t. Is it worth getting checked? Somehow poured boiling water on my hand and this is the result. It’s not really sore, hurt real bad for a few hours and now it’s just itchy if anything. There was another larger blister that popped further down on its own. I’m keeping it dressed when I’m going out and more likely to hit off of it.

Thought Id make myself a nice cup of tea yesterday as I typically do. However instead of pouring the water into the mug I now have a second degree burn, not my brightest moment. And I never got the tea. Here is my sob story and my sore hand since I somehow lived to tell the tale…

Tommy passed suddenly three weeks ago and my heart is broken. He was diagnosed with kidney disease on Friday and dropped dead early Monday morning on his way to the bedroom. He was my shadow and he faced so much cruelty in his life, we were his 6th home and no matter what happens to this house he’ll always be resting in his favourite sun spot.

The last few days have been really hard, we got a puppy a week after he passed since that’s how we move on and heal but I think now it’s starting to hit me that he’s gone. I keep expecting to hear his foot steps and today my dad said hi to him while walking past his grave and I really thought he was actually there for a moment. He’s popping up in a lot of my dreams and I’m not sure if it’s making things better or worse to feel like I’m still with him. I think my puppy thinks I’m crazy for bursting out into tears during late night potty breaks because her pee spot just so happens to be like a foot away from him. They’re total opposites looks wise but I see so much of his ways in her, it’s like he sent us her. Ramble over, I’m just sad and feel the need to show people Tommy any chance I get. I love you Tom Bomb. 💣

Hi everyone, brought home a 3 month collie x lurcher from the shelter on Saturday and well. It’s a pee and poop party. We had two really good days with her where she actually went to the door to tell us she needed to go but now she’s back to flooding the place. I brought her out three times this morning and still had three accidents, I even missed my bus over it! I know it’s early days yet but toilet time seems to be zoomie time even on the lead. She’s a rescue and has never been in a house, it’s going to be a long process but any words of advice? She doesn’t seem to need to go when she sees my other dogs go.

Dolly has been here four days and has already claimed my bed along with my two boys. My old girl had her hay day but can’t jump anymore and won’t use stairs. Some people are so against it but I couldn’t imagine not contorting around a zoo! Dolly doesn’t like sleeping overnight in my bed and just likes to nap while I watch telly or do my own work. I gave her free rein of the bedroom last night and she still slept in her crate from 9 to 7 lol.

Dollys third day home and she’s finally showing her true self! The other dogs don’t really understand playing but she’s happy to run all on her own. My mam was doubting there was a greyhound or whippet in her but one zoomie proved her wrong.

Meet Buddy the strange thing that is trying to make himself a terrier. He originated from an Aldi car park and has never left our home. At first we thought Buddy was a normal stray until his…quirks…began to show. Turns out Buddy is really messed up mentally and isn’t great at being a dog. His main pastimes are licking windows vigorously, digging to China and stealing tea. We brought a pup home from the shelter last night and it confirmed even more he isn’t sure how to be a dog. The poor thing was so confused by him because his idea of a greeting was really intense eye contact from an inch away and mouth to mouth breathing. He then spent the night staring at her like nothing short of a pervert, his big bushy brows don’t help his case. Jokes aside I adore the thing and I wouldn’t trade his weird shenanigans for the world even if it’s a lot of spit and dirt. Hes proof ignorance is bliss because he’s the happiest thing going.

Dolly hasn’t even been home 24 hours yet and has decided she loves her crate after one licky mat. Next battle is separation anxiety but one hurdle is already jumped! We’re going to slowly inch her crate out until she’s in her own room. Sweet girl has never had a soft bed in her life and is very happy to snuggle into one. Go adopt from your local rescue centre!

We’re now introducing her to her crate, our older dogs are overwhelming her so I reckon this will be good for her. Then we’ll have to work on her separation anxiety! Only have her three hours but chaos ensues when Im out of sight, she couldn’t care less about my poor parents. Also a blooper of her side eyeing our mentally disabled doggy who doesn’t understand body language.

Poor horse usually hates this field, Ive never seen him so happy to go in lol. The wet wet rain is back once again!
