Tottori is the least populated city in Japan. It’s usually pretty quiet. Half the town is waiting in line to eat sushi at this restaurant.
It’s really delicious, the prices are great, totally worth it. Everything we ordered was tasty, except for the crab. The ice cream is award-winning too. We went as a couple and were stuffed for just 5,000 yen. There’s a Don Quijote nearby to walk off your meal.

It's an izakaya that's known for its really cheap prices.
The standout menu item is the fried chicken skin skewers stacked in a pyramid shape, priced at just 50 yen each.
Beer is 190 yen a glass, and Highball is 150 yen a glass.
Overall, the taste is decent, but the fried chicken skin, the restaurant's signature dish, has a bit too sweet sauce. If it were spiced with a salty pepper style like Yamachan, it would probably be tastier.

The biggest illumination event in Japan. If you're visiting Nagoya, you should come check it out. The lights are spectacular.

The lights start at 5 PM. If you're coming in the afternoon, I recommend strolling around and shopping at Mitsui Outlet Jazz Dream first, it's not far, about a 10-minute drive.
Inside, you'll find a flower garden, lots of lights, and an ongoing light show that changes themes each year. When I went, it was themed around Mount Fuji.
If you're coming by bus, make sure to check the schedule carefully.

The flavors are perfectly balanced. The soup here is a fragrant dried fish broth, and they offer about 3 types of dried seaweed to enhance the flavor. The pork is really tender. But the prices are pretty high compared to regular ramen shops, starting at 1,400 yen.
