Ok so my comments got downvoted in the last Luke Cage post because apparently saying Luke Cage can exist in Rivals without Danny Rand is heresy. Personally, I think it's pretty disrespectful to reduce Luke Cage to only Danny Rand's partner...so i'll say my piece.

Firstly Luke Cage was introduced completely by himself, in his own comic line. This isnt some Cloak and Dagger shit where they're introduced together. Luke Cage was created to be a solo hero

Secondly, Luke Cage has had multiple comicbooks about his own solo adventures

Thirdly Luke Cage has his own TV Show, about HIMSELF

Fourthly Luke Cage appeared in multiple different teams without Iron Fist, like the New Avengers and Mighty Avengers

To add to all of that he probably has hundreds of guest appearances in other peoples comics (Spidey, Daredevil, Punisher, Panther,etc) all by himself without Danny.

They're both their own seperate characters that teamup a lot and are best friends. But they're not Cloak and Dagger lvls of together. Luke Cage does not have to be replaced just cause Danny got replaced.

I've never heard of the concept that Luke can't be in "X" because Danny Rand isnt in it. It's so fucking dumb and reductive. Luke's powers arent dependant on Danny. He's still bulletproof and super strong.

Do I believe Luke is being added ? nah. But using Danny as an excuse is bullshit.

Since I saw some Shuri discussion, here is a 3D model of her found in game. She got the Gallery Girl treatment whilst being a full grown adult lol.

Edit: I envision Shuri being like a Strategist Sombra. Hacking and turning off enemy abilities using either tech or her magic.

Marvel Future Fight is a game made by NetMarble, which is a Korean company. It's the game Luna debuted in and had Danny Koo as the producer (he's also the producer for Marvel Rivals)

One of the few things i'll give to Netease is their face design. All the black characters faces look great and unique. Anything from the neck down is questionable tho.

Horrible edit by me but I had to give granny Storm her flying wheelchair.

My personal opinion is if they wanna keep Storm unique, give her more auras. You can keep her as a granny that buffs her team but atleast give her rain and blizzard modes. Orrr keep her as is and give her a movement ability. Either way I'd be happy, anything to keep her moveset more varied and not limited.

I can't find any dates.

Please god make him an actual viable tank and fun one. Give him a shield and make him a main tank. Whether his shield is from his Mutant powers or his X.S.E equipment. The more damage his body or shields get, the stronger his beams are. Make him a poke tank with 2 different projectiles: his energy beams and his X.S.E gun. Make his energy beams short ranged with a build up meter and his guns long range hit scan. Set him apart from tanks, make him fun and strong.

My worst nightmare is if they make him DPS.

Storm's pick rate from Season 1 to Season 7.5, has dropped from 10.74% to 2.6%. Basically it's a quarter of her Season 1 pickrate and mind you her Season 1 pick rate wasnt really high. Though that could arguably be due to the fact she was banned heavily. Still she was picked more than Wolverine, Ironfist and even Hela.

She however had the highest win rate in Season 1. Why ? Because she was arguably the strongest DPS at that time. She was only worthwhile playing when she was the strongest, however now even though her win rate has barely changed, her pickrate and banrate have plummeted.

So what changed ? Could possibly be various possibilities. Maybe the fact she was nerfed, made people not be able to tolerate her stagnant playstyle anymore. Maybe it was cause other fliers and poke characters were buffed hard whilst still also being more fun. Maybe her winrates are bloated due to the fact nobody knows how to play against her.

It doesnt really matter tbf. Storm's pickrate is dookie water and it's pretty much effecting her relevance within the game. She just recently got buffed with survivability and her winrate isnt bad. So her strength isn't really an issue. Hell I reached nearly Cel 3 when I took maining her seriously. I went further than I did with Hela or Phoenix when they were meta.

Take it from a person who's nearly Champion with Storm, her playstyle does not compare to the newer characters coming out. The issue is when you play Black Cat, Starlord or Deadpool it's very difficult to go back to Storm the floating Slug. Not unless she is dominating lvls of Meta.

They gotta move Storm from being a ult charging, weighed down, DPS bot towards are more nuance, exciting, engaging character. If not her pickrate will continue to decline as more fun characters are released.

This is just my take. I'm happy to see your opinions.

TLDR: Storm's pickrate has dropped by 75% from Season 1 - Season 7.5. She has a high winrate. So being weak isnt the issue. It's being boring/less engaging.

Any ideas on the next event they can leave Storm out from ? I'm betting it'll probably be the X-Men uniform again or Vampires.

This was my favourite show growing up. I love the idea that the spawn of Dracula wants to live a completely normal life.

The emasculation of Cloak is one of the earliest ringers of Neteases mistreatment towards black characters. Having his torso and legs, his sexual appeal, his design potential, all stolen from him whilst he looks dorky and stupid af with his emotes.

When it comes to a game design perspective, why can Dagger rival other healers, but if you stay as Cloak an entire match, you've practically thrown it. Their moveset design is intended for you to stay Dagger for majority of the game and use Cloak as little as possible. Especially in a 2-2-2 comp.

This character could've been so fire and interesting.

With Moongirl being an NPC and someone saying that shill Miller said that Netease isn't interested in Falcon. I can only assume this poll of black characters are the only ones they're interested in. So that means no Luke or War Machine either. No Shuri or the rest of Wakanda. No obscure interesting black character from the X-Men. Just these 4 and god knows if they will only do Bishop not the rest.

With this poll being recent, I don't even think they've started on Bishop's hero design lol. So yh dont expect anything anytime soon. I could be wrong, but I dont think so.

She's been aged up plenty of times. Each of these are as true to her character as Sai being Psylocke. Dont let them gaslight.

At this point it's getting pretty fucking predictable. Netease your racism isnt even creative lol. It's officially gonna be 6 months since Storm's last skin when the Season 8.0 ends.
