At what age do you think it’s appropriate for a child to spend 1 night alone in their home? They have a cell phone and all the emergency numbers, and parents are aware they’re home alone. Very safe neighborhood with security system and cameras. It’s a weekend.

Plenty of food in the house. An adult they trust (uncle, grandparent, etc.) lives within a 10 minute drive.

If you need to know how responsible or intelligent they are, we’ll just say average. Whatever that means to you. Never been in serious trouble. Decent grades. Average kid. No major disabilities or special needs.

Have you ever intentionally kicked, bit, scratched, hit, slapped, or pushed a current or past partner? Not playfully or in an intimate situation with their consent.

[Spoilers] In the film The Good Son, the mom has to choose between saving her evil son and saving a good kid who is not blood related to her but she knows well. You find out your kid is evil. Your choice is between your evil kid and a random good kid. Who do you choose? You can’t save both.

In the film the mom saves the good kid

For sake of argument, you somehow know the kid is good. If you need to know how evil, in the film the evil son >!drowns his baby brother (previously done and not shown), harms animals, threatens sister, and does things to cause mayhem!<

People who don’t already know, without looking it up, how far apart do you think Australia and New Zealand are from each other?

Answer >!2000km!<

Edit: Apparently, >!1500km!< may also be correct? Please correct if I’m wrong. I found this from another source, but most say the first one.

How do you feel about people who say they believe in God but do not follow or read the bible (or any other religious text)?

If I may ask a follow up question, what about if they believe in God and accept Jesus as their savior, etc. but are anti-bible because they believe it was written by men to manipulate and control them?

A twisted billionaire is giving away $10 million (USD) after taxes. Somehow, magically, you know for a 100% fact that they are being honest and will pay up. You’re with 5 other people. Whoever says they’re willing to lose the most limbs for the money gets it. How many are you willing to lose?

You don’t get to know what the others are offering up first. If you say 4 and someone else says 4, it will be decided by a coin toss. You will not lose any limbs if you don’t get the money.

There will be no way to take the money without losing the limbs. There will be no pain when the limbs are removed (there will be when the anesthesia wears off, but you will be prescribed pain killers). It will be done by a world renowned surgeon and somehow magically will carry no risk of other complications or infection. Just losing your limbs. You get to choose which limbs.

People who are desensitized to horror movies, what’s a movie that actually scared you?

I love horror movies and enjoy them. It just sucks that when you’re so desensitized, nothing really scared you.

The last two movies that scared me with the lights off watching them by myself was Lights Out the first time I saw it (only because it reminded me of my childhood fear of the dark) and The Poughkeepsie Tapes because it was so disturbing. I’ve seen a lot of great horror movies since then but nothing that’s done more than startled me. What’s one that’s really scared you? I have not seen Barbarian. Some have said that is. Weapons wasn’t scary at all. Neither was Longlegs. Same with The Innkeepers. Same with Talk to Me. I liked them all, but they didn’t even move the needle.
