First laser session has been great!

I've only had one session so far on pretty thick facial hair (I had been shaving twice a day) and most of the hair has fallen out after a couple weeks. There's still some, but I'm also not sure which ones are stubborn hairs that were treated already and which are just new growth that hasn't been treated yet. But I can literally just gently scrape most of the hairs with my fingernail and they fall right out, and I only shave once a day now and don't have to worry about any shadow. Way better than any other methods I've tried so far! Tbh even if I don't see any more reduction than I've already gotten, it would be worth it to keep going every month.

S-Tier Girl Dinner

Crispbread, sweet chilli hummus, cocktail onions, cheddar slices, and a glass of milk. I also had honey on some of the bites without the onions.

Why is the front piece always too wide for me?

The part I'm referring to is that piece between the cups, where the clasp would be on a bra that clasps in the front. If I pinch that part on a bra my size, it fits perfectly, but otherwise it still doesn't quite fit. If I go down a band size, it's too small and the front piece is still too big. Has anyone else had this problem?

Favourite toppings for a barley bowl?

For this one I used tomatoes, stuffed green olives, kalamata olives, pickled beets, lemon pepper, onion powder, olive oil, and olive juice

Next time I'm at the store I'll get some ingredients and try it with roasted sweet potatoes, butternut squash, kale, and pumpkin seeds

What are your favourites?

Diptyque Corail Oscuro was surprisingly nostalgic

My partner tried a sample of this recently. To me, it smells just like weeding a garden bed at my old house. Specifically, a bed of green peppers, with a lot of rocks in the soil, and I'm pulling up yellow dock and a little datura. Also reminds me a bit of the rocks in the creek by my old house.

Can I pluck hairs that were killed by laser?

I got laser about a week ago, I know you're not supposed to pluck hairs but I plucked a few and there were some that came out with no resistance at all and were very short with no root, while they usually are much longer and hard to pull out. Is it okay to pluck just the ones that come out with no resistance to get them to fall out faster? It seems like they mostly aren't falling out on their own or take a while to.

Guess what I am

23F

The trait I'm most known for is never talking.

Starbucks barista, considering trying to switch to a job at a bank. Dream job is author/stay-at-home mom.

Raised in rural appalachia on a small farm by hippie-ish parents, very close with my family.

I have autism & selective mutism.

I like to mostly be alone or next to someone else doing our own things. I don't like group activities. I need a ton of physical affection though and love to cuddle.

I hate sports but like to be outside and do gardening or walk in the woods. I'm into foraging.

I don't like being a leader and don't think I'd be great at it.

Very artistic, I do charcoal portraits, cross-stitching, and writing. I used to do sculpture and pottery too.

I also love cooking and baking and I'm into fashion. My special interests are Lord of the Rings and primates (especially great apes).

I'm Quaker and fairly religious.

My ideal life would be living on a small farm, married with 2 or 3 kids, a ton of cats, some ducks, and a nice garden, and publishing a few books.

Positive traits I'm told I have: loyal, sweet, thoughtful, caring, persistent, creative

Negative traits I'm told I have: stubborn, shy, pushy, bossy (with people I'm comfortable with), contrarian, picky/particular

Sun sign matching partner's venus sign?

My partner and I don't have super compatible sun signs (Taurus & Aries) but my Venus sign matches his sun sign and vice versa. Is this common for couples?

Can your zodiac chart make you lucky/unlucky?

My partner is the unluckiest person I've ever met, he's not spiritual but I'm very spiritual/religious and feel like there must be some explanation for how unlucky he is. Can astrology be a factor at all?

Vegetable suggestions?

My partner is very picky and I'm trying to help him eat healthier. I do the cooking. He likes green beans, so I end up making them a lot, but unfortunately, they're one of the rare vegetables I don't like. He's willing to eat peas and carrots prepared certain ways, will eat peppers, onions, and garlic chopped really small in tomato sauce, and claims to like raw baby spinach but doesn't eat it when I buy it.

Are there any other vegetables that are good for picky eaters? Or ways to cook them he might like?

He won't eat broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale, lettuce, bok choy, cauliflower, cucumbers, asparagus, tomatoes (except in sauce), any squash, edamame, olives, collards, or beets. I'm thinking about making zucchini bread but not sure if he'll actually try it.

Does it mean anything to lack certain elements/types of signs in your chart?

I was realising my partner has 0 water signs (4 fire, 4 air, 2 earth) and also has just 1 fixed sign (5 cardinal, 4 mutable). My chart is very balanced between elements but I have only 1 cardinal (6 fixed, 3 mutable). Does this mean much? I don't know a lot about astrology so I'm not sure how important these factors are.

Sprouted quinoa smells weird, is it safe?

I sprouted some quinoa but noticed it smelled a bit like vinegar. Not really a bad smell, it just smelled like if you mixed a little vinegar into quinoa. I rinsed it off and the smell went away, is this normal or should I throw it out?

Suggest your most unexpected drink recipes

I like to try new drinks a lot at work, I'll drink any frappuccino or any espresso drink that's sweet and has milk (any plant-based milk), and any of the refreshers, matcha, chai, or hot tea. I don't like non-espresso coffee and haven't been a big fan of the iced tea so far but might try more. My favourite flavours so far are raspberry, dark caramel, toasted coconut, and anything chocolate. I'm getting bored of my usual drinks though and need some suggestions!

Transformation of the kitten I found

I saw her running across the road and I had to climb into a thorn bush through some poison ivy to catch her. The vet initially said she was 5 weeks old based on her weight but later said she was 7 weeks and underweight, she didn't know how to eat or drink yet and was covered in the biggest fleas I've ever seen. She had scabs on her face too. We have no idea what happened or where her mom or siblings were. But she grew up to be very tough and playful and she loves other cats.
