Friends cancelled for my birthday, where do I stand with them? Do I explain how that’s made me feel?

we planned to go out, and both of them cancelled as they made other plans so I said it was fine and we can go out the week after, which we planned.

they cancelled again, same excuse, they made plans with other people at the last minute.

part of me wants to let it go and just not even text them. to me the friendship is kinda over, but another part of me is angry and I don’t wanna cause a fight because it’s not going to change anything.

both of them have already had their birthdays and I planned a lot for both of them. Just not getting the same effort back, really hurts.

How often do you see the same person on your commute to work?

At least 4 times a month I will see the same car infront of me on my way to work. Every Thursday I see the same old man outside the corner shop reading his paper. And every Monday I see the same guy walking home, he’s had the same bag for about 4 years now.

I wonder if anyone sees me and goes “there he is” 🤣

Driver didn’t match picture?

Two of my friends said report it, and I get it, it’s a safety issue.

but again, I don’t wanna risk someone their job.

the picture showed an older lady, maybe late 50’s, where as a young man showed up.

This Charity Shop is full of Temu and Wish cr*p 🤦🏻‍♂️

it’s like 90% of this stuff. I wouldn’t mind but it’s the 3rd shop I’ve been in that’s like this.

One thing I’ve noticed working at Tesco, the hard workers get told off because they don’t care about them.

it’s the lazy, stupid ones they wanna keep, the ones that won’t better themselfs, the ones that are robots, the ones that won’t cause hassle because they’re don’t know any better.

Spoiler:S2 E3, where was she? Did they have the same rules as her last place?

the guy that took her in, the place he lived. Not sure if I missed it, I’m on E4 now.

Did the follow the same rules? was it a different place?

so, any friends i have, when theyve dated someone I feel left out. I know it’s somewhat normal but I’ve never done that to any of my friends and I always try and split time between both.

but my current friends will always put 100% into a relationship and I don’t know, it kinda upsets me but I don’t say anythin.

my friends started seeing someone and it’s causing me anxiety lol

is this normal

This guy comes to self serve, had beer and my colleague looked at him up and down, and approved. He went to find a manager and my colleague got a warning. The guy was 35? I thought they sent in people who were young or looked young.

Anyway, he came back yesterday, same guy, same colleague. She asked for ID he laughed and said he wasnt working and she still asked for ID. He didn’t have it, he’s kicked off but we all know what he looks like now, definitely doesn’t look under 25. He’ll be getting ID’ed every time he comes in now

I spend all day speaking to people and colleagues.

But on my break, headphones go on and I switch off.

A collegue has made a complaint that I’m unsociable? And a manager has spoken to me.

they won’t give a name and I’m not in trouble but they’ve said to try and talk to people on my break?

I don’t like sitting in my car, but I think I’ll go back to that

we have 16 self serve tills, and 8 SAYS tills.

we went down to 2 staff members, shift leader wouldn’t help, there was 2 on main tills and both older who can’t work SS. so I closed SAYS. two managers went mental, shoting at me to keep all sections open. I explained that its easier to control this way.

Well, £500 shop walked through SAYS while I was doing a full check on a customer and got caught at the front of the store.

I got a Let’s Talk, and a manager said to me ”why did you force a full check” this manager doesn’t even know how SAYS works! He told me I shouldt be doing that many checks as I had 7 in a row! I said we need more staff and he said we have enough??

I see so many staff wear it like this or am I the odd one out wearing it in the wrong place 🤣

and you’ll think they’ll wear it in the correct place for a training video

Love how serious some of you are taking this x
