Just a rant, old man yelling at clouds here. 95-year SF resident. Yesterday as I approached my apartment building near St Francis (UCSF) hospital I watched a “man” let his dog Cantina on the sidewalk and just walk away. There were people all around, a popular route for the after-work Trader Joe’s shoppers. He was carrying two TJs bags and the brown chihuahua was on a leash.

The dog released a massive disgusting wet Baja Blast directly in front of my door. And he just walked away.

I said are you gonna pick that up? Without even looking he started doubling down “I have more reddit karma than you bitch” I was shocked. I don’t know why, people absolutely suck in 2026.

Anyway I just had to get this off my chest. This poor excuse for a human being, by the way with a terrible fauxhawk and even worse fashion sense, who looked like a reasonable adult just is a walking sociopath. If I had a piece of cardboard or something I would’ve scooped it up and smeared it on top of his grocery bags.

The entitlement, the sheer audacity. Fuck him. My “neighbor” did this. Thing is he did not look at me one time. But I will definitely remember him. And I’ll see him again.

Any suggestions?

PS since this is the SF subreddit I fully expect someone to reply that I am the misguided one and that person was perfectly normal and I should be more liberal or something. Fuck you in advance.
