Who would win between the Strongest Space Marine Librarian of Today vs Strongest Space Marine Librarian in History?
Note that we will be using their feats from the books/novels.
Also we are going to use Primaris Mephiston and Chaos Ahriman.
For me its geist.
Feats > Statements
One of Azrael's best feats is fighting and surviving againts kharn. (Remember that azrael could have killed kharn at the same time he will die and kharn can revive so the trade is simply not worth it) Also VERY FEW people can survive against kharn the betrayer. This puts Azrael above than most chapter masters.
Theres also another of feat of azrael fighting typhus and eventually beating him in combat. (This is in the novel "The unforgiven") do note that both sigismund and corswain doubted they could win against typhus.
Essentially Azrael is basically a 40k version of his counterpart corswain who is also the greatest swordsman of the dark angels during the great crusade.
Azrael is more of an Leader/strategist but dont forget his also a very good duelist too.
Are there any other feats that Azrael has besides beating typhus and 1v1 kharn?
For me personally I want to see the Risen as part of a special unit of the playable DA and I want to see the dialogue between Zabriel and Kai as they are good friends I supposed. I also want to see Kai boasting about his swordsmanship and trash talking in the dialogue in game.
I also would have love to see Galad as well due to the fact that his a Knight Cenobium/Cenobite and I want to see him in game smashing through orks or necrons. The fact that galad is a knight cenobite makes him a very strong astartes in the 41st millenium due to the fact that his wearing a cataphractii terminator armor and Zabriel also deacribe his honor markings making galad the most elite among the risen. Which is shown in his clash with markog.
Besides the risen I also want to see Deathwing Knights, Inner circle companions, Black Knights of the Ravenwing, etc.
I also want to see a squad of ICC guarding the Lion that will be cool as well.
So as DA fans what do yall want to see in the Playable DA of the upcoming DoW 4?

So does asterion moloc have any "feats" of physical prowess to compensate of what Azrael has done? Tjhe only thing i know off is fighting a necron overlord and making a custodian doubt himself (who LOWBALLS himself all the time)
Reminder that these are just baseline humans that can take on space marines much better unlike the imperial guard.
The solar auxilia are the closest to space marines without all the crazy biological enhancements and we have the veletaris which can already give a good scare to a space marine.
The solar auxilia are also much better equip than the imperial guard because in 30k volklites are quite commonplace and the basic weaponry of the auxilia is much better than imperial guard las gun and we have void armor this allowed the auxilia to fight in the harshest planetary conditions.
Also both sides can will be allowed to use their support vehicles like tanks or aircraft and their elite units. Dont know if the Sardaukar have any combat vehicles.
It made me wonder how would the solar auxilia fair to what is essentialy a baseline super soldier?
The same man who became friends with an iron warrior named "Barabas Dantioch"
I know we have Zabriel one of the very first batch of terran born space marines created along with astelan.
Also fun fact:
Any Terran born Uncrowned princes or the 1st batches who fought along side with the emperor during the unification wars gets to received a very powerful psychic protection PERMAMENTLY protecting them againts psychic intrusion. If a psyker tries to look inside a Terran Born Uncrowned princes, they are painfully repelled by something so powerful it can described as:
"Besides its power, Zahariel was a candle next to the sun"
This also means that some of the older terran dark angels who survived in the unification wars are walking around with permament anti psyker weapons inside their brains. Zabriel is an example of this.
These are basically baseline humans or techno-medieval knights with no augmentations or extra organs like space marine instead they fight primitive form of bolt pistols and swords and they also ride horses as well as having a primitive form of power armor or exoskeleton that most likely enhances protection and possibly strength as well and it includes some sort of communication device on the helmet.
These are baseline humans who fought the great beasts of caliban who are very much warp-tainted making them very dangerous but despite that the knightly orders of caliban led the great beasts to extinction with the help of the Lion and luther.
Note that it would be Pre monarchia Aurelia with her SO as emotional support.
We all know that Aurelia is one of the more religious types of the primarch so im curious to see how she would react to the religion of the faithful and heretics of the trench crusade.
Its likely that aurelia would side with the faithful as more and she would most likely see the faithful's religion as their version of the emperor or something like that.
Edit: Do note that Aurelia is one of the more compassionate primarchs (IIRC she LOVED all her sisters and the fact that she tried to save Atalanta from suffering due to the nails hitting on her head) it is likely that she will feel pity for the trench pilgrims while respecting them as well. Im also curious her reaction on those anchorite shrines and the fact that humanity see suffering as holy and a blessing or something like that.
Who is going to win?
The deathwing knight will be armored in indomitus terminator armor while being armed with a stormshield and Mace of absolution.
Bonus round: This time the deathwing knight will be having no armor and no weapons instead relying on his IQ and skill.
Context: The Dark Angels legion appears by showing of their impressive organization tactical flexibility to the point that guilliman was very much impressed. Just note that guilliman is the king of logistics and organizational management.
> The trumpets screamed, lifting him from the memory. An aide stepped to Guilliman’s side, and presented him with a gene-reader data-slate.
> Overhead, the starport airspace opened and the void shields slid aside. Ships descended from the shadow of a fleet lying out in the atmospheric murk.
> First, Stormbirds, painted void-black, the leading edges of their wings flecked in dark, dark green, the colour of ancient forests. Behind them, in formation, landing ships, Thunderhawks and Thunderhawk bulkers, and troop landers.
> They were not just in formation. They descended in perfect, perfect, aerial synchronicity. The ships came down like formation dancers, in a precisely integrated and orchestrated ballet.
> He’s showing off, Guilliman thought.
> He smiled. I would too, if the situation was reversed.
> Drop hatches and ramps opened and released with similarly pin-sharp timing. Formations of Dark Angels strode down the ramps onto the colonnade and entered the square. They stepped as one, each beat perfect, each warrior gleaming and uniform. As the marching companies entered the square, they began to spread into wide, double-ranks from their ten-by-ten blocks. The spread was seamless. Squads widened and melted into and through each other, forming a perfect double-wall, all still marching in step, never missing a beat.
> The drill discipline was the most impressive Guilliman had ever seen.
> He’s showing off, he thought again.
> ‘They’re very, very good at that marching drill thing, aren’t they?’ Euten said, gesturing at the square below.
> The Dark Angels ranks had begun moving again. They had peeled meticulously into tempered, marching cohorts that crossed diagonally through other cohorts to create perfect new shapes: diamonds, squares, triangles, curved lines, a six-pointed star. Point leaders were turning and marching back into their packs, inverting the march order.
> It was annoyingly impressive.
> ‘I imagine they must get plenty of time to practise,’ Guilliman replied.
> Euten looked at him and covered her mouth with her hand.
> ‘That’s the most acid thing I’ve ever heard you say, Roboute,’ she declared.
> He grinned at her.
> ‘Brace yourself, mam. My big brother’s come to stay. The acid is only just starting to flow.’
> Down below, on the polished marble stage of the Martial Square, the Dark Angels finally finished their display. Polished bolters clamped to their chests, they formed a V-shaped fan of squads leading back to the ramp of the lead Stormbird.
> The Lion emerged.
> Despite himself, Guilliman felt his heart skip and his lungs pump. The Lion. The Lion. There were brothers that he could look down on, and was happy to, and there were brothers that he could admire. Rogal, Magnus and Sanguinius, and, damn him, even Russ. He could admire them for what they were. But there were only two brothers that he had ever actually looked up to, only two brothers that he had ever actually admired. There were only two brothers that he felt shadowed by when they were present. Lion El’Jonson and Horus Lupercal. The Lion emerged from his lander stony-faced, bareheaded, his long golden hair trailing in the wind. So beautiful, so deadly, so empty, so unreadable.
> They approached along the echelon, entering the square. Guilliman sighed.
> 'Bastard. Always showing off,’ he murmured.
This shows that even Guilliman in its complexity and coordination was a subtle way of the Lion showing off his Legion's organizational flexibility, which Guilliman commented on himself. This also shows that the dark angels during the great crusade could practically switch tactics on a dime, reorienting it's forces smoothly to engage a new foe or try new tactics, and that was the Dark Angels Legion greatest strength.
If I have to pick top 2 legions when it comes to organizational flexibility it would be dark angels and ultras.

Round 2 Fleurdelys vs 20F Sukuna

I decided to make this post because im very curious about these best of the best space marine chapters.
When it comes to the dark angels, they are the best at strategy and tactics but not good at logistics and management organization like the Ultras BUT what makes the dark angels special is the Rock and their leftover D.A.O.T weapons and last of all has the best 1st company out of any chapter because each Deathwing terminator exclusively fight in terminator armour, so they likely have more experience with its strengths and weaknesses to give them an edge over similarly armed foes. ALSO they have the largest amounts of terminator armor and LOTS of plasma weapons.
When it comes to the grey knights, what makes them special is that they have the best high quality gear like the dreadknights and LOTS of force weapons + all of them are psykers. Just like the deathwing they also have the largest amounts of terminator armor. They are also the best at combating the denizens of the warp.
Round 1: Dark Angels 1st Company vs Grey Knights 1st Brotherhood. (Vehicles and supports are included)
Round 2: 4 Companies of Dark Angels vs 4 brotherhoods of Grey knights.
Round 3: The entire dark angels chapter (the unforgiven is not included) vs The entire grey knights chapter.
Round 4: Same as R3 but with a twist, the DA can bring out their good weapons from the rock. Its possible that the rock may have numerous psy-arkana weapons which could pose a problem for the grey knights.
