Can I connect a gaming router to BGW320 and bypass the built-in router for Wi-Fi?

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, I don't know much about routers and modems.

I have a BGW320 which is a modem/router combo that came with my fiber Internet and when I'm playing SteamVR through Wi-Fi into my VR headset I frequently get hiccups and lag but I don't get any lag when playing on my PC connected through LAN, I have heard getting a gaming router would help with the hiccups and lag on my VR headset.

But I'm not sure if I need to get a separate router "AND" modem or just a separate router.

As the title says, could I just plug a gaming router into my BGW320 and get less laggy Wi-Fi?

Just received the most widely used biology textbook for universities

https://ibb.co/8D4NkZFc

I was going to admit myself to a hospital and I wanted to bring stuff with me to read while I'm there, I've been wanting to read about biology and astronomy.

Doing a lot of research the Campbell's Biology textbook appears to be the most popular biology textbook taught in universities.

I was going to get 12th edition online which was pretty expensive but a librarian told me that if I'm not going to use it for class (which I'm not) and it's only for pleasure reading I don't need to get the latest edition. So I got the 9th edition instead for pretty cheap, it was about $15.

I'm waiting for a astronomy textbook called 'The Cosmic Perspective' to be delivered which appears to be the most widely used "astronomy" textbook for universities.

Has anyone else read this biology textbook from Campbell?

Edit: I was trying to embed a photo I took of the book but it hasn't been working.

I wired my first lightbulb today

I'm currently taking general construction classes, I already completed carpentry and plumbing and now we're doing electrical.

Although I'm not trying to become a electrician, I plan on being just a construction laborer because electricians have to go through a 4 year apprenticeship before they make good money which is too long for me.

Edit: For those saying I should do the 4 year apprenticeship, I plan on going to university to get a Electrical Engineering Technology degree so I can be a Electrical Technologist.

Edit 2: I have doubts that I have the math skills to do regular Engineering, which is why I'm considering 'Engineering Technology' instead which is supposed to have less math and more hands-on.

Cheapest drone & handheld with 8K 60fps 360

'DJI Avata 360' is the cheapest drone with 8K 60fps 360

'DJI Osmo 360 2' is the only handheld in existence that supports 8K 60fps 360

It's just a coincidence that both are from DJI, i wasn't looking specifically for DJI.

I just received the Quest 3 VR headset and have been looking for something to make my own videos with, higher resolution is important for 360 videos because with lower resolution the video becomes much more blurry compared to flat videos.

Higher framerates are also very important for VR videos because you get much less motion sickness with higher framerates.

YouTube videos have a maximum playback of 8K 60fps, not just for flat videos but for 360 videos as well.

Just received the most popular card game with air/land/sea vehicles

It's ironically called Air, Land & Sea, and as I said it's the most popular card game with air/land/sea vehicles.

I was going to take it to this board gaming lounge near me to see if anyone wants to learn how to play.

The reason I got this is because I'm a fan of digital games with air/land/sea vehicles like Battlefield and Arma and have been looking at non-digital games with these features.

The most popular "board game" with these features appears to be Axis & Allies but that takes hours to finish but this card game is said to only take 20 minutes.

There is only 3 things you should use to clean your lenses

  1. Rubber lens blower

  2. Microfiber lens cloth

  3. Distilled water

DO. NOT. USE. ANYTHING. ELSE.

Pavlov has doors you can open & close right?

I don't like that onward doesn't have doors so I'm considering getting Pavlov if it does have doors.

It has doors right?

Is 'Forefront' the only VR game with air/land/sea vehicles and motion-controlled aiming?

I'm a fan of games with air/land/sea vehicles, it just feels so "complete" and I recently just got a Quest 3 and really enjoyed the infantry motion-controlled aiming and manual reloading in the game Onward.

Forefront is the only game I've found so far that has all these features and I'm wondering if it's the only one.

I completely cleared out my bedroom to have more space for playing VR

I also put tennis balls underneath my bed's legs so I can easily push it back and forth from the kitchen without scratching up the floor because my case manager said she doesn't want me sleeping in the kitchen.

Watching the stars in Google Earth VR is the most overwhelming thing I've ever experienced

I just received my first VR headset.

Google Earth VR is NOT a video game, it's an insane collection of real life photos, every single star you see is a real life star.

I'm my city there is a ton of light pollution so I've never seen the stars clearly, I've never even seen the galactic center. BUT NOW I HAVE! 😁

The video is my own recording.

Most popular card game with air/land/sea vehicles

Its ironically called "Air Land & Sea".

I've been doing research on non-digital games with air/land/sea vehicles because that's the type of digital games I enjoy most and I wanted to share.

The most popular "board game" with air/land/sea vehicles is "Axis & Allies" which I made a thread about yesterday on the board game subreddit.

There is a tabletop gaming spot near me and I was looking for something to play with them.

3S is too blurry up close, is the 3 worth it?

I've been getting frustrated with how blurry the quest 3S is when playing electrician simulator VR and I'm repairing electronics up close, but it's not so bad when viewing things from a distance.

I thought the main difference between the quest 3 and 3S was the storage size and slightly better resolution but doing research people have stated that the lens for the quest 3 is much better than quest 3S which makes it much less blurry.

Would getting the Quest 3 be worth it if I want a less blurry experience?

Edit: I just returned the Quest 3S.

I just bought the Quest 3 which is going to cost $51.38 for 12 months with my Amazon financing card.

I got the "Renewed Premium" version because it was $50 cheaper and it gets delivered faster.

Is there a setting that turns off the flight disturbance/shaking when flashing red light and beeping noise is on?

I'm new to DCS world so I'm sorry if I'm asking silly questions, but when I'm flying the SU-25T often I get a beeping noise and a flashing red light which makes my plane spiral out of control.

It doesn't seem to only happen when I'm being fired at(I could understand if that was the case) but it seems to also happen when I'm "targeted" but not actually being shot at which really frustrats me.

If it matters im using a T.Flight Hotas 4

How to fire missiles on SU-25T Frogfoot?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't figure it out. I know how to fire the gun which you press "6 then C"

But I've been trying to fire the rockets and it just not working.

In the training for unguided rockets I just have to press "7 then D" but on other modes it doesn't work.

Edit: I figured it out, I had to change the loadout within allied groups.

Semi-open: Samson SR850 $37

Fully-open: Koss UR40 $40

Headset:

FIFINE Amplitank HD18 Lite $69

This data is from Amazon but i don't want to post the links because I don't want to be accused of advertising.

[COD4] CoD4 Is The Only CoD With Mod Support & Based In Modern Times

Every other call of duty that's based in modern times does not have official mod support.

Not even 'Modern Warfare Remastered'.

You can literally make anything you want in this game with the radiant editor, you can also play in online servers with mods, but you have to state that it's a modded game in the description.

Most games nowadays are stripping away mod support which really disappoints me.

What car is the best at tight cornering?

I'm playing the 2014 version and I'm pretty new to the game, I've been getting frustrated at how slow the cars I've been choosing turns.

Also, how should I tune the car to improve tight turns?

Edit: I've mostly been using the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and Ford Mustang 2015.
