Normally wouldnt post demijohns of things here but this one was drunkenly accidental reuse if demijohn of trub from previous strawberry wine, meant to add apple juice and blackcurrant jam to clean demijohn git mixed up, came back to it the next afternoon knowing I was yet to add yeast and there it was fermenting away.

Just got an email and in app message from Starling, £150 as they say they incorrectly reported to credit reference agencies, I keep a careful eye on my credit reports and can't say I've noticed anything.

So I'll happily take the £150

Wholemeal means healthy deep fried right?

I put some "ripen at home" plums in a drawer to ripen for making a gallon of wine.

Then forgot about them for a month.

Fish fingers chips n peas

Bought at £1.25 for 2 burgers on use by day, thrown in freezer til yesterday, defrost in fridge overnight n bbq'd with lightly warmed onions and served with home made 40 pint batch of cider poires from fridge

Certainly not the best steak in the world but at £4 for 2 steaks n fries or sweet potato fries, a bargain.

And can be used for all sorts (whacking with a hammer then cornfouring and deep/wok frying for crispy chili beef, or throwing in cornish pasties).

But at £2 a go n free chips, coops current offer of 2 ranch steaks is to me on a Hebridean island where offers are few and few between, interesting.

Bbq'd very hot to a medium with solid crust, cut the right way is passable as a cost effective steak.

Foced to take a week holiday from work with no plans, to use some holiday.

So naturally a week bbqing, drinking and boating fell into place.

Steak served with drinks and excessive volume jungle music.

Home made cider, buckfast, uncle Wray and some Badger ale
