People Eating Raw Meats.

Anyone else get slightly annoyed by the amount of brain dead people eating everything raw and genuinely arguing it’s better for you? It just amazes me how stupid people can be, not to mention it’s completely disgusting. Can’t believe this is genuinely becoming a common occurrence.

anyone have reaction to salt?

anytime trying to add salt to diet -

  1. feeling sad
  2. cant wake up in the morning
  3. always sleepy
  4. puffy face

anytime adding potassium salt(losalt)

  1. bloating with water inside that can last for few days
while itll not go from me as diarrhea
  2. high pulse rate
  3. panic

anyone has the same experience?
i removed almost everything, except of ghee, red meat and fish, but still reacting even to salt…

how do you understand that this is MCAS

basically i have similar experience from some drinks and food and it’s immediate reaction.

last week i ended up in ER, but that’s useless i believe it’s mcas

- itching
-bloating
- psoriasis
-psychosis
-heart palpitations

my trigger food is
coffee, apple cider vinegar, any kind of diet soda (like with aspartame, stevia, etc), spinach. fruits except of avocado and blueberries

after coffee for 2 hours i have disasters panic, aggression and feeling of impendium doom like something bad is coming and some hallucination even from few sips. rush and itching too.

REACTION IS ALWAYS IMMEDIATE in 15 min

i wanna cut out coffee fully and soda already done
and left only chicken, beef, pork and porkfat/ghee/cod liver

is that something could works? h1/h2 doesnt work
all blood work normal. organs normal after ultrasound

I jumped from 4:1 ratio to high protein high fat and my anxiety came back

Hi!

24yo male. Been struggling from anxiety, depression and panic attacks for years. while haven’t found ketosis stuff and how it helps with mind

immediately in few weeks after got into 2.5 mmol ketosis i felt relief and for first time jumped from all antidepressants, gapantin, some bipolar medications too.

my stack been for last year
- 150gr beef(with occasional shellfish and yolks)
- butter mostly(tallow, ghee rarely)

i always calculated ratio in cronometer to 4:1 for adjusting fat.

I always felt from that moment after getting into 2.5 ketosis that i dont have any mental struggles. it was immediate effect like pill. like some wonder, i never believed in “food medicine”

Last 2 months i decided that i dont have any mental issues anymore. so i started to eat the same amount of fat but eat much more of protein like 120-150gr per day.

NGL i felt little less energy but couldn’t say that difference been huge for first week. But slowly i realized i started have strange episodes of panic and anxiety. OFC i coudn’t think it could be related to ketosis, basically i didnt believe that it’s really working and that amount fat is more important as a lot of ppl on carnivore said.

Last days i decided to eat only pork backfat + little liver 100gr for restart digestion.

on third day i get up with so strange feeling that my mind is so clear for some reason. on fourth day i’ve checked my blood and result been from 96mg/dl to 68mg/dl.

i felt incredible again! and i would never think it’s ketosis.
I checked it recently and yes, i basically can relate that my brain affected by numbers on ketomojo. 5.5mmol

anyone here had similar experience?
i stick to my diet now and introduced pork/beef fat:
4:1 ratio, beef/chicken hearts or liver/lamb organs/pork tenderloin. Pork/Beef fat and ghee

PS. also i wanna to say about my analysis after this “extreme diet” and i’m not deficient at all. no heart problems. only sodium is being little low, but i’ve been supplementing only potassium salt for years.

GHEE OR PORKFAT on AIP?

i'd like to start elimination process of food on carnivore, some kind of autoimmune protocol.
i see that on AIP ghee isn't allowed

i have access only to raw backfat for a while. should i stick to it or ghee is fine?

my diet included: beef, pork, fish, shellfish

Coffee is my trigger … never thought about it !

coffee been cause of my constipation. it’s insane …

for 2 years i’ve been suffering from insane constipation to the point when i can’t walk.

i consumed one cup daily at least in the morning (but at one point it was 5 liters for understanding how terrible all this stuff been going) but i believe even one cup of coffee been launching ibs reaction for next days

i did keto diet, animal based, carnivore, eliminated fiber, added fiber.

nothing really worked.

i decided put myself into insane **AIP protocol.** [r/AutoimmuneProtocol](r/AutoimmuneProtocol)
(autoimmune protocol)

only what i’ve been eating for 1 week is
\- frozen sardines
\- pork fat
\- electrolytes
\- beef liver

**and i did something like that before but at this time i eliminated coffee too. at least i will be less anxious.**

**on second day i pooped for first time i think for whole life without coffee. idk how to explain how it feels, like you gotta huge cocaine, this relief is so incredible. on 1 week i didnt have any constipation issues anymore.**

# basically COFFEE had been my trigger

never believe chatgpt, it will always say that this is not possible!

===

and i believe this, because usually constipation and IBS are coming or from SIBO or Autoimmune stuff

i do the same diet as before as afraid to trigger something. Fish, Pork, Beef and i added ghee as fat source. Going well for a while

good luck!

Constipation or IBS triggers? mine is COFFEE (?)

i dont know how it’s possible.

but after years of carnivore, i had strange experience of constipation in some days and no constipation in other days.

i do coffee. and it’s bad stuff.
on one morning, i wanted to restroom and went easily but like not fully. so i’ve been just waiting. i did coffee for go “faster” . after that i had burp in 2 min, anxiety and feeling that i’m constipated 100%.

i removed coffee and my ibs seems dissapear.. lol

what is your triggers on carnivore? what should i remove else? i do
- shellfish/fish (mussels, oysters, sardines, sprats)
- organ meats/red meat
- pork lean cuts
- poultry rarely
- cheese low carb (gouda, edam, parmesan, blue cheese)
- eggs so rarely

fat source: butter, ghee, cod liver, pork fat(rarely)

thank you?

low on b12? macrosytosis after years on carnivore?

I’m trying to understand why I previously had anemia with macrocytosis, while my hemoglobin has now recovered
but my MCV is still bad .

i can only be low on b12 then, but how if i do carnivore for a lot of years?

should i test on b12?, test is reliable?

Before (november 25):
RBC 3.49 T/L
Hemoglobin 122 g/L
MCV 106 fL

6 Aug 2026:
RBC 4.24 T/L
Hemoglobin 145 g/L
Hematocrit 0.444 L/L
MCV 105 fL
MCH 34.2 pg
MCHC 327 g/L
RDW 13.9%
Platelets 271 G/L

Other recent results:
Ferritin 170.21 ng/mL
Folate 13.1 ng/mL
TSH 1.54 µIU/mL

=======

MCV BEFORE IS 106FL
MCV AFTER (1 year) IS 105FL
