Roofers get into a fight while working on a job, fall off the roof, and continue fighting. "The white folks are gonna call the cops if you guys don't calm the f*ck down..." one man was heard saying in Spanish. Remarkable camera work here.

Major Jason Watson, an active-duty Air Force officer, stood on the Capitol steps Wednesday, held up a sign reading Impeach, Convict, Remove, and let police handcuff him rather than put it down.

He has worn the uniform since 2005, and he risked his career, his pension, and his own freedom to say out loud what most of Congress won't.

Watson wasn't breaking any rule when he started. Demonstrating on those steps is legal, but only if a sitting member of Congress is standing with you. Rep. Al Green was. For as long as Green stood beside him, a man in an Air Force uniform holding a protest sign was perfectly within the law.

Then Green walked away.

The second the congressman left, Capitol Police told Watson to stop or be arrested. He didn't stop. They booked him under a statute with an almost comic name, Crowding, Obstructing, and Incommoding, and led him off the steps of the building he swore an oath to protect.

He's on leave from his post as a logistics readiness officer in Poland. He isn't a Democrat. He says he knows next to nothing about Al Green's politics. What he knows is that thirteen American service members are dead after strikes on Iran and Venezuela that Congress never voted for, and that the Constitution he memorized hands the power to start those wars to the Capitol, not the Oval Office.

So he came to the Capitol and said it to their faces.

A military pension is not a small thing to gamble. Neither is a criminal record. Watson bet both on the chance that a few members of Congress might feel some shame watching an active-duty airman get cuffed for holding a piece of cardboard.

The odds are not good. Green forced a vote on impeachment this year anyway, and the House killed it 237 to 140, two dozen Democrats crossing the aisle to make sure it never reached an up-or-down count.

The man accusing the president of shredding the Constitution left the Capitol in handcuffs.

He had no vote to cast and no gavel to bang. He walked up to the most powerful government on earth with a scrap of cardboard and an oath he wouldn't break, and dared it to arrest him for reading the Constitution back to its face. It did.

Hunt: Do you believe Israel has a right to exist?

El-Sayed: Now the question about a right to exist is interesting because nobody's ever asked me whether or not I believe Palestine has a right to exist. Israel exists. The question is whether or not we want a politics where our money is sent over to Israel to do genocide and apartheid, instead of investing in our own kids.

Women arsonists arrested after allegedly launching firecrackers into the nursery window of a family’s home.

Leslie Morgans was out eating with her children when she received a notification from her security camera at her home in Sacramento, California.

Morgan saw 3 women throw something into the window of her soon-to-be newborn's nursery and called her husband, Anthony Cadena, to investigate.

Cadena, who was home playing video games, saw firecrackers that had lit the nursery bed on fire and ran to get a garden hose to contain the flames as he waited for first responders.

Police say a prior disagreement with the women led to the attack on the home.

Morgan said, “Our family forgives these girls because that's what we do. We're not holding a grudge against them… I do hope that something happens to change their perspective. We just hope they learn their lesson from this.”

You don't see police work like this every day.

New video released by NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch shows Emergency Service Unit officers making the dangerous climb to remove two people from the top of the Empire State Building spire after an unauthorized stunt.

"God bless these officers," Tisch wrote on X.

The couple, later identified as Netflix's Skywalkers: A Love Story stars Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, were taken into custody after displaying a banner and getting engaged atop the landmark.

Father James Martin, a Jesuit priest appointed by Pope Francis, had to explain the Nicene Creed to JD Vance this week after Vance went on a podcast and called "In this house we believe" yard signs "a disgusting butchering" of it.

The Nicene Creed is the profession of faith Christians have recited every Sunday since the year 325. It doesn't mention yard signs. It doesn't mention immigrants. It doesn't mention any political issue at all. It is a statement of belief in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Vance converted to Catholicism in 2019. Six years, front to back. And there he was on a podcast, telling millions of people what a fourth-century profession of trinitarian faith is really about.

Father James Martin heard him.

Martin is the editor-at-large of America Magazine and a consultor to the Vatican's Dicastery for Communication. He has spent years responding to Vance's theological freelancing, from the "ordo amoris" argument that Vance floated to justify prioritizing Americans over migrants, which Pope Francis himself wrote to correct, to Vance's suggestion earlier this year that the Vatican should "stick to matters of morality."

On Tuesday Martin posted a thread. "It's hard to know what to make of the Vice President's bizarre, almost nonsensical, comments," he began. He explained what the Creed actually is. He noted that it doesn't say anything about hideous signs.

Then he landed it.

"It's ironic," Martin wrote, "that the Vice President is mocking things like love and the church's teaching on migrants in the same breath that he is professing his faith through the words of the Creed, which includes belief in the authority of the church.

Because this 'one, holy, catholic and apostolic' church has long proclaimed the Gospel message of love and care for the stranger, which Jesus himself preached during his public ministry."

"So a butchering of the Creed would mean, in fact, not listening to the church's teaching on these matters and, even worse, not listening to Jesus's own teaching on love and loving the stranger."

"Because, in the words of the Creed, we also believe in 'one Lord, Jesus Christ.'"

BREAKING: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, holding a banner from the skyscraper's antenna reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace."

As of now it's unclear how the pair reached the top of the building as police work to get them down from the spire, 1,454 feet above the ground.
