Literally, I have 10 late orders that disputes are not being accepted on cause I was dashing in SF two weeks ago and literally the GPS doesn’t match up with the reality of the traffic. It’s infuriating like I keep. I keep getting these orders where the order just isn’t ready at the pick up time in it and it’s my fault. It makes no sense.

I swear last Sunday support told me that with a new week starting on Monday I’ll be able to start disputing orders and getting my disputes accepted, but not a single one all week

I looked it up and it means messy, unkempt, long hair. I(m36) have messy, course long hair style.

I went to pick up the order and a worker to the side gets the to go guys attention that I’m there by saying, “what’s up greña to me.

I don’t respond because I don’t know what that means. But I see this dude exchange some smiles and giggles with a cook in the back, at which point I say hey man what did you just say to me.

He says, “greña. It means long hair” and seems to be very nice me, like he’s laughing with me. I just go okay man.

But looking it up seeing what it means, combined with how he said it, saying what’s up greña to me, a gringo, who likely doesn’t speak Spanish, and not explaining it and having the laugh with the guy in the back. Just seems like I’m getting mocked.

I can be platinum and still do 60%+ less volume than all these assholes in my region, zone- Bay Area

I’m a van dweller, so I may end up going and living in other parts of the country during different seasons, but the main place I van dwell is Marin county. And I’m a doordasher. So losing signal suddenly sucks.

I’ll miss orders, and have to drive somewhere else where I do have service to start getting orders again.

Or I could also be unable to complete orders, with no choice but drive away sometimes the customer may not know the order was just sitting there 5min- potentially even longer times depending where the drop off was.

I switched to mint because I pay waaay too much on Verizon and t mobile has been saying that they became the best network so I just took their word for it.

I’m on Verizon still and I keep going back to my old phone to use DoorDash, or whatever. Making me think I should just suck it up and keep paying the nearly $100/month I pay w/phone financing and $15 d+ Such a bummer.

Does it look good to you? Does it look on par with the PS5 for example? Or maybe the ps4?

So way back in 8th grade in 2003-2004c I was getting harassed by this group of kids who were from a super toxic macho culture.

They started approaching me in the hallways at school, “You like AFI??” They thought it was hilarious. I had no idea AFI existed. I’d go, “What’s AFI?” They’d say it’s a band. I didn’t understand what was happening. But they thought it was hilarious. This happens a few times over the course of a month and what I could gather from what they tried to tell me was that AFI was a band with a lead singer who was super girly and gay. I guess they thought I looked super girly and gay lol. This culminated one lunch when I returned to my backpack with AFI written in that white out paint stuff. They were so proud of themselves.

Anyways, I wasn’t exposed to AFI anywhere on TV at the time(pre dcmbr) so I had no idea what they sounded like. I forgot about it.

Miss Murder was on the radio for a few years and I liked that song. Took me until 2009 to realize that THIS was AFI. I was like oh, cool, THIS is AFI. I looked them up and while Davey did seem to be almost in drag(in the pictures I saw) I think I looked it up and there was no evidence that he was gay, or trans. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But I remember thinking how wrong those kids were and how cool/bad ass AFI was. Jade had those side burns that looked like slits that truly fascinated me.

That was it though, I didn’t listen to any of their music and forgot about AFI yet again.

Cue to last month listening to JEW on Spotify, some AFI song came on and I liked it a lot. “Who is this? It’s awesome.” I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been pretty much hooked from then on. Took me 22ish years. I guess I do like AFI 😂😂 honestly, now I’m proud to have been associated with scene/femme Davey. Davey is a fucking KING.

I’m really into all hallows and black sails atm. Also HOLY VISION is ethereal and awesome.

Side note- I have been to Ukiah and still can’t believe that’s where AFI was incepted 😂 few places have such an out in the middle of no where feel. Ukiah and north make “norcal” seem more like cencal 🧐
