When you aren't just a cat, but own several hoomans and a shop in Chinatown [OC] Bangkok, Thailand

He is clearly a hooman owner with a nice life - look how clean and well-shaped he is and how confident. You can meet many such happy kitties in Bangkok, roaming freely on the streets, along with less lucky ones like this cat.

From my last trip to awesome Bangkok, 2025.

Queen in need of a home

there has been this Queen who has been coming around for the past two weeks, she is friendly towards us, does not like to be held and seems to not mind our other cats. I would say she is very near her expected time. I have attempted to trap her without success and I would care for her however I am not able to have another cat, let alone her kittens due to lease agreement. I have callers rescues and unfortunately are at capacity

Medical Lake, Wa

any help would be appreciate!

A tomcat meets an adolescent kitten. What can happen? [OC] Ko Lipe, Thailand

It was at the seaside of the island of Ko Lipe, Thailand, with a row of hotels along the beach. By one of the hotels, I noticed a playful kitten in the grass, who was joyfully discovering the world of plant scents, and then the tomcat appeared from a nearby hotel.

The tomcat started out very seriously, as if he was going to hunt the kitten, and the kitten was careless, thinking it was just a game. The tom quickly approached the kitten and suddenly stopped, sniffed him, and then this magic with rotating heads happened... The adolescent kitten then playfully fell down on the grass, and the tomcat looked happy and not aggressive at all. I guess he finally realized that he encountered not a rival, but his own son, lol.

Kidding about the father's feelings, but they probably knew each other as they lived next door (and they could be relatives as the island isn't large).

From my archive 2023.

First visit since June 3rd.

It appears Paul has moved on. Summertime he was here twice a day and would sleep in the yard. Now he hardly shows at all and it’s ok. Nothing lasts forever. This will be one of our last posts as well. July 31st I plan on leaving this sub with Paul trapped or not. If I can get him trapped and straightened out within the next month I will post that here. If not I will make a farewell post on July 31st so we can all move on. It’s been a long ride for us all. Thanks to this sub and the mods for allowing us to share our story here and thanks for all the advice. Thanks to all that TNR feral cats and care about the feral cat population. You all make a difference.

I like nature and spent much time hiking in forests, and I have camped in wild places, yet I had never seen an owl in my entire life, until recently...

A cute Spotted Owlet (Athene brama) [OC] The funny thing is that she lives in a tree 20 meters away from the kitchen where I cook. In the afternoon, she normally tries to sleep with a grumpy look, as if she were thinking: "oh, so much light, why can't I sleep like all normal birds at night?" 😂 She is always in the same tree, and, as I discovered later, visited by her three other owlets... So when AI says you owls aren't social, don't trust it! 😂
