Fishless cycle

Fishless cycle

Currently trying to cycle my 500L tank and I feel like I’m doing something wrong. It’s planted, though not as heavily as I would like. I put 30ml of 5% ammonia into the tank. Wait 20 minutes. Begin test. Follow instructions. Wait 10 minutes. Check readings. 0.2. What am I doing wrong? So little ammonia. No nitrite or nitrate.

Pic of tank for attention. I’m assuming the white fog is bacteria bloom from the plants and fertilizer. The tannins are from my wood. Hope it stays that way for my Congo river biotope.

Small updates to my first apartment

All the rental furniture is gone, TV stand is still in transit from Amazon, lamp set up, new fish tank, new table, new bed frame. Still need a coffee table, night stands, and decorations like a rug and book shelves.

Only PlayStations I ever owned are a PSP 3000 Monster Hunter edition and a PS2 slim that I sold before moving to Italy. Navy Exchange had the PS5 pro on a slight sale for $699 so I took the chance and jumped on it. Been playing Rift Apart and Demon’s Souls lately. I’m a PC gamer normally but it’s nice being able to have an excuse to use my LG C5 in my living room

I know all corydoras need to be a with a school of their own species. I just got a 500L (132G) tank that I think I want to do a giant planted community tank in. I want to have multiple schools of different Corys. Is this possible?

We’re about to drop arc raiders and Helldivers due to developer choices. We love playing Fortnite when the season is fun. We’ve played through most of monster hunter wilds and world. We need something new for us. Any recommendations?
