Email says not to wear a suit.. so I wore a nice polo, khakis. She told me this and I asked what she meant and she said “the durag on your head”

… it was a turban… from my culture.. told her and she stood on it and said it was still unprofessional

So I usually don’t have to travel to far, 10 minutes is typically the max. But when he gets babysat by my family they stay 30 minutes away.

The car has no ac and I have no idea what I can do to keep my toddler cool during these car trips. I’m from Memphis Tennessee and at this point I just can’t get him babysat anymore because I am not subjecting him to that long in the hot car. I heard portable fans aren’t helpful and just circulate hot air so what are some tricks I can use to make sure my boo boo isn’t so hot in the car? I feel like a shitty dad because I can’t even afford to get a good car that can get some circulation and air for him..

I lost my keys and Walmart closes in less than an hour and I want pickles so bad i might actually cry. Clausen…. Spicy grillos…. God I want cold spicy pickles so bad why does this have to happen to me? Why must I be tormented everyday? How does one become religious when subjected to such dehumanizing torment ? I just want some pickles…

I see so many people talk about how disappointing the size for the one dollar items are. I think that they are obviously making them smaller during these promotions to account for the price.

But where my theory comes into place maybe they are doing this to see the feedback and how many sales they get to see if customers are OK with receiving less if they do decide to go to a one dollar menu. because those will most likely be the new portion sizes if so

What’s the best way to possibly talk to a district manager? After forever there is about 3 roles open in my area for management position. I have over 10 years of experience but the first one was not chosen. Was wondering if anyone has any advice to get picked, or if there’s someone I can talk to personally to hopefully get me on the right path?

They gave me an extra day until Tuesday noon to have it have no use for it nice bed shower and TV complete free

So essentially, what happened was yesterday she left the house without saying anything from 3 PM to 2 AM. I ended up getting a hotel to stay there instead because I didn’t know if or when she was coming back, she called me at 8 AM the next morning, spazzing out saying she’s worried about where her son is at I told her he was with me safe.

She called the cops. They asked me to come home and they ask a few questions. I told him I don’t like him being home when she comes home like that because she comes home very drunk and combative. Show them when she gave me a black eye they documented some things and then they left.

After they left she got in bathtub and tried to kill herself with a gun. Tried to take it from her and she pointed it at me and said she’d kill me too. Then ran out with it. I called cops back they found her said her story kept Changing and she said she didn’t have gun. They eventually found where she hid it outside, and she admitted to everything I said…

They said it should be a felony charge with some years, and then came back 5m later and said it would just be a 24h psych evaluation and she’d be allowed back once she comes out…

Location: Memphis Tennessee Shelby county… is there really no way she can get charged for this? She had a history of doing this and I told them this. She is going to kill me.
