How we feeling about possibly getting this skin in game?

u/DogManDogDayz — 4 days ago

Lowkey. We gotta learn how to control the narrative like Thor mains

If we cant get him buffs?

Get his hardest match ups gutted and nerfed.

If we cant get him skins by himself?

Ask for couple skins with Storm, now the devs are getting pressure to create for all couples in the game.

If we cant get him new moves?

Ask for more team ups and get his friends and family like (Luke Cage, Blade, Moon Knight, Misty Knight, Shuri, Killmonger, Miles, Fat Cobra, ect) added to the game, which once again. Gets us more team up moves.

This is how we win.

It worked for Thor mains. I think it can work for us too.

Third failed coup attempt by France on Burkina Faso’s sovereign soil by Ivory Coast proxy fails once again.

Ivory Coast is disgusting for allowing France to continue to attack their neighboring African country

Beeaking into the field with experience in accounting and tax compliance/analysis

How likely am I to get in. What would you advise my steps should he to get into the field?

I have an associates in accounting and would like to expand in the field by attaining my bachelor’s and eventually study forensic accounting

Would that be a good path way for me for AML and eventually reaching the higher credentials of the career like SAR writer and investigator?

Maybe even landing a career in the IRS

Perfect timing beats a lot of things in combat sports. This is a good example.

As a writer, you get to establish 3 martial art styles that action scenes with T’Challa are going to feature a lot more of in media. Which 3 would you choose?

With this one we’re gonna focus in on hand to hand. But If you have some to include that are related to armed combat. Please include them too. They’d be fun to talk about in this discussion also

They dont have to be steeped in or related to Black, Diaspora, or African Martial Arts but bonus points to you if you do so.

Heres my list and their origins

First - Muay Thai (Thailand)

The martial art features a lot of round house kicks to the head and body, leg kicks, and elbows. Its fighters are known for their brutality and endurance to pain. It features clinching. And attacks that typically wear down bigger targets. I think this would fit perfectly for someone like T’Challa. Who’s been able to take down tougher and more durable targets than him like Cull Obsidian and a large Super Skrull specifically trained to kill him since birth. By using their size and weak points against them. Something Muay Thai is great at too.

Would also be a really cool homage to the Muay Thai Fighter that goes by the name Black Panther because of how big of a fan he is of the character

Second - Judo/Senegalese Wrestling (Japan/Senegal)

Judo is obvious. As he’s used it to make quick work of Wolverine and some Xmen on more than one occasion. Using their momentum and aggressiveness against them to throw them and make them miss their attacks or even hit their own people. Even throwing Logan into a crowd of Xmen. I included Senegalese Wrestling as some elements are a bit similar to Judo. And its another fighting style that ties his arts back to the African continent and its diaspora.

Third - Hausa Dambe (Nigeria)

Hailing from the Northern part of Nigeria. Dambe focuses on using one free arm as your shield or “blocking” arm. While utilizing your other free hand primarily for striking. We’ve already seen T’Challa use Orisha blood blessed wraps to take down a magically amped Dr Doom in the comics. Which was dope. But I not only should the wraps be a part of his base kit as a hero. (Meaning we’d see them used more often) but I also think he should use that striking style more often in action scenes in the comics and in other media. Dambes also an incredible martial art to watch and has tons of knock outs. Would highly recommend watching.

My honorable mentions for other hand to hand combat styles I think should be important to his lore -

Black American - 52 Blocks

Brazilian - Capoeira

Brazilian - BJJ

Black American - Philly Shell Boxing Stance

Japan - J Kick (Kickboxing)

Suriname - Dutch Style Kickboxing

Mgba - Igbo Folk Style Wrestling (Biafra/Nigeria)

What would be your list?

Any fans of the games know why this title didnt do so well sales wise with the fandom? Im playing it now, years after release. And its a good game

Genuinely doing stuff the other Arkham games dont do. And has way more customization

What happened? Feels like this game was shunned. Btw if youre on PS5 its on sale for less than 10 bucks. Absolutely a steal

Looks like BP is leading a squad of divers in the new 18v18 map preview.

Not to get anyones hopes up, but maybe thats a sign that content is coming soon?

Cant believe this needs to be said. But DONT make jokes calling for the death of a game developer.

THINK before you post.
