People become so miserable…

So I am 23 and growing up and entering more adults spaces is realizing that most grown people are losers. And I would like to get the point of views of millenials and boomers about adults life but for me, I encounter so many people that are so miserable.
It’s really insane become you know some people they can be miserable and don’t bother you, but a lot of people are miserable and want to drag you with them.

Am i a victim of quiet bullying ?

Hello,

it’s gonna be long, there is a TLDR at the end.

So for the context i got this job a year ago, via a temp agency. I worked from July through November 2025, and now came back in August. There is 3 departements, and each departement got his own opens space. There are at least 30 employees across all departments.
When i arrived, I find the colleagues of my departement were really nice with me. It takes me a while to open up and talk to people, but I push myself to do it, especially at work.
My colleagues were pretty cool with it. My manager was also very nice with me. But i feel the two others departement were very cold toward me. At first i thought it was because i never really work with them directly. I only work with my colleagues that are in my open space. But then, i noticed that when they quit or arrive to the building, they never greet me. For example, if theres only me and another colleague in our open space, they gonna say « hello \[name of my colleague\] » and pretend I am not there. At first, I was like « okay sure, it’s because it been like a month I am there, theyre not used to my presence ». I thought that if I went over to say hello, they might be more open to me. But it didn’t really change anything. My manager decided to bring in a new employee to backup after 2 months. So I had to train him. He’s the same age as me, so we got along pretty well. But I was shocked by the way the other departments welcomed him, because I didn’t get that kind of treatment. They greeted him warmly, asked him his name, and so on. Some of them even asked him to join them for lunch? Anyway, I decided not to let it bother me.A month after he arrived, my manager called us in to tell us that one of us would stay and the other would leave because they now only needed one person for the position. I decided to leave even though everyone thought it would be my coworker. I lied, saying I had other plans.

I’ve been unemployed since I left. Two weeks ago, the temp agency called because the company needed a replacement due to someone being on leave. I decided to accept because I was short on money anyway and had been dipping into my savings. When I got there, I felt extremely awkward. The colleague I trained has fit right in with the team and the other departement, they even eat together and so on. That makes sense, of course, because he stayed there and built relationships. It’s just that I feel like I’ve become a ghost. I say hello to my department, and they respond almost coldly.
I also feel like my manager was very passive agressive toward me… like she don’t have other choice to accept that I came back. But they’re used to people coming to the company, leaving, and then coming back again.
The other departments always treat me the same way. There’s new person on my team who’s been welcomed more warmly than I have. People came and talk to her. I don’t understand what I did to them. It’s starting to weigh on me, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to stick it out until the end of my contract.

TLDR : I worked at this company in 2025 and, while my own department was nice to me, the other two departments consistently ignored me. A coworker joined later and was immediately welcomed warmly. I left, then returned a year later.

All the new employees after my arrival fully integrated with everyone while I feel completely invisible. Even new employees seem to get a warmer welcome than I ever did. I have no idea what I did wrong, and being back here is starting to really affect me.

Thinking about going back to school and need some advice from Blk girls students in France.

Hello,
So first of all I am a black french girl, I speak English and French.
Im 23 and thinking about going back to school, first of all because I’m bored and need something to keep me motivated, and I want to go back to school because I don’t really have a degree, lol. I was born and live around Paris, and I really want to change my surroundings and move to the south of France to study. I really want to “grow up,” and to do that, I need to move to a different city. Are there any French blk girls who studied in the south of France, particularly around Montpellier and Marseille? What are the people like? Do you feel comfortable there? I understand French perfectly, so you can write your answers in French.

Thank you ✨🌞

Comment contacter des formations sur France travail ?

Bonjour,

Vous me conseilleriez quelle(s) ville(s) ?

Merci d’avance

They way they hate when ur happy….

« They » include everyone except black women

So I have a big laugh and i am a kind of bubbly and smiley person.
Yesterday I hang out with my friend and we were outside.
We were talking and laughing together about our lifes you know.
The number of them being mad and stared madly at me? Mind you I don’t laughed loudly like i used to and I know when to calm down myself and when I am too loud. There were a moment this girl look back at me, look at her friend and mumbled something to her friend.
It’s crazy how they want us to be mad and angry. I’ll smile everytime in their faces.

I’m so tired of corporate :/

I’m 23 and It’s been 4 years since I finished university and got an useless degree and I mostly work in offices, few times in retail and warehouse.
I’ll never work in warehouse again because it was physically exhausting but corporate ???? Lmaoooo
I am currently unemployed but my last job was in a office and omg people were horrible it was insane.
It was for a wholesale company well know in my country, similar to walmart. It was kind of mentally exhausting, bc of the workload, but also my relationship with my coworkers, especially my manager who was the biggest hypocrite ever and try to exclude me from the team.
The day before I quit, there were a meeting with all the teams, about the annual results. It was honestly one of the most boring meetings I've ever sat through.
What made it even worse was knowing I was being paid so little while the company was generating millions. We didn't even have any meaningful benefits.
It's really made me reconsider my career. I'm seriously thinking about going back to school and earning a degree that will actually lead to something better. At the same time, I honestly can't imagine working in an office again. I've genuinely developed a bit of a phobia of office environments. :/
But i feel like others work environnements are not better 😭

Why I can sense the world want us to never exist ?

Deeply sorry to sound like an femcel, but i do feel like we enter a society where only black men are allow to exist. Theres still racism towards black men, i don’t deny it, but i feel like that theres now a huge gap about how black men are being treated vs how black Women are being treated. I can see this with movie industry and music industry.

How to understand maths as a language ?

Hello,

I am currently 23 and I’m starting catch up course in October so I can enroll in a paramedic program.
I’m trying to prepare myself before the courses, lol. I’ve always struggled with math throughout my academic career. I just realized that the problem is that I’ve never viewed math as a language to be understood, which is why I’ve never done well in math.
Do you have any books, videos, or other resources that can help me better understand math as a language and help me solve problems ?

Thanks in advance!
