How many points do you think the Hawks will get?

I’m curious what everyone thinks the Hawks’ point total will be this season. Personally, I think around 73 points is realistic. Obviously, I’d love to be more optimistic, but with Bedard’s injury and him potentially missing some time, I think it could really hurt the team, especially early in the season.

I still think there are some positives with this team, but without Bedard for part of the season, I’m not sure they have enough to be a playoff team yet.

What’s everyone else predicting? How many points do you think the Hawks finish with?

I had a vision, and my visions usually come true

Pens get the 2nd overall pick in the 2027 NHL Draft.

Sid and Geno decline this season, and Erik Karlsson — my 2nd favorite D-man behind Luke Hughes too/ pens drops to 81 points.

Am I the only one who thinks Pantoja is going to wreck Van?

Van is still very green, and I feel like the experience gap is going to be a huge factor here. I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about how big that difference could be.

What do you guys think?

Why do so many people now have Josh Allen over Patrick Mahomes as the best QB of the post-2018 era?

I genuinely don’t understand the argument.

Josh Allen is obviously an elite QB and deserves to be in the conversation, but when we're talking about the best QB since 2018, how is Mahomes not the clear answer?

Mahomes has 3 Super Bowl wins, 2 MVPs, multiple Super Bowl appearances, and has consistently been one of the best playoff QBs in the league. Allen has been incredible too, especially as a runner, but he still hasn't won a Super Bowl.

I understand arguments for Allen being the better regular-season QB right now, especially after the last couple seasons. But if we're talking about the entire post-2018 era, what exactly is the argument for Allen over Mahomes?

Are people putting more weight on Allen's individual stats and rushing ability, or do they genuinely think he's been the better QB overall?

even then mahomes got him

Am I the only one who thinks the Colts make the playoffs this year?

I might be drinking the Kool-Aid, but I really like this team. I think the coaching staff is sharp, and I feel like the players are going to be hungry.

Not having a 1st-round pick next year could also be extra motivation. They know they need to make this season count and prove they can win now-

Defense is solid offense might be legit with JT. And also Dj has to win due to win bonus QB.

Am I crazy for thinking the Colts make the playoffs?

The Colts have now demoted Anthony Richardson to third-string quarterback. Richardson has mightily regressed, and appears to be completely checked out after requesting an offseason trade. The former No. 4 pick could now be a cut candidate before his fourth season even begins.

Am I the only one who thinks the Pens could get a top 3 pick?

Hear me out: if the Pens end up picking in the top 3 of a stacked draft, they could potentially land a generational prospect. That would be huge for the future of the franchise.

Obviously, the odds of everything lining up like that aren't great, but if they do end up near the bottom of the standings, I don't think it's crazy to think they could win the lottery.

Imagine the Pens getting another generational talent through the draft.

Why does Candace think it's a good idea to debate Andrew Wilson while she's pregnant?

I'm asking because debates with Andrew tend to be extremely aggressive, and he has a reputation for relentlessly pressing his opponents. If she's pregnant—especially if there are any health concerns—it seems like an unnecessarily stressful situation. I just don't see what she has to gain from it.

Am I missing something? Why take on a debate like this right now?

[Rapoport] Sources: The #Titans and standout G Peter Skoronski have agreed to terms on a huge new extension to make him the highest-paid guard in the NFL. Skoronski gets a 4-year, $100M deal with $88M guaranteed, as the former No. 11 overall pick, a Cam Ward bodyguard, cashes in.

Do you guys think Big Q gets an extension this offseason?

Let's say the franchise tag isn't really an option because of how expensive it'd be. Do you think the team gets a long-term deal done, or is there a real chance they let him play it out? Curious what everyone thinks.

The Buccaneers at +160 to win the NFC South is about as close to free money as you'll find this season

ibviously just discussion no betting advice

Look at the division:

  • Falcons: No Jalon Walker.
  • Panthers: No Patrick Surtain-level addition to fix that defense, and they're still relying on Bryce Young taking another leap. no nic scourton
  • Saints: No Bryan Bresee, and they're still a question mark overall.

Meanwhile, Tampa brings back Baker Mayfield, who has already shown he can thrive with the right coaching. Zac Robinson should bring fresh ideas to the offense, and Todd Bowles finally has a dedicated defensive coordinator so he can focus on being the head coach instead of wearing two hats.

At +160, you're basically betting on the most stable team in the division with the best QB situation.

I'm not saying it's literally impossible to lose—nothing in sports betting is—but if I had to pick one division future, this is it.
