Is peak Mario Lemieux the greatest hockey player ever?

Not greatest career or greatest résumee ust absolute peak.

If you could take any player at the very best version of themselves for one season (or a playoff run), would you pick Mario Lemieix over everyone else, including Gretzky?

Lemieux's combination of size, skill, vision, scoring, and ability to dominate games has always made me wonder if his peak was the highest level we've ever seen, especially considering he did it while battling injuries and illness.

I love the great one but i gotta go with mario

Why is Switzerland seen as underdogs vs Colombia? Their midfield looks seriously underrated

I’m a bit surprised Switzerland is being talked about as clear underdogs against Colombia.

On paper, the core midfield of Granit Xhaka and Remo Freuler is genuinely top-level in terms of control, structure, and experience. Both are proven in big European matches and bring a lot of balance.

Defensively too, Switzerland looks more solid than they’re given credit for. The central defensive structure is usually well-organized, and even players like Denis Zakaria add physicality and coverage when needed.

Colombia obviously has more attacking flair and unpredictability, but I feel like Switzerland’s compact shape, discipline, and midfield control make this way closer than the “underdog” label suggests.

and the attak does have dogs too. yakin is a tactical wizard

Curious what others think is this just reputation bias, or is Colombia actually a level above structurally?

Unpopular opinion but I think Ravens are going to suck next season

We’ve seen all the quarterbacks from Jacksons generation regress and I think this is his year. Burrow, Allen, Mahomes all severely regressed last season. Now it’s Jacskon 5s turn. He’s already past 29 with a playstyle that doesn’t lend to longevity in the NFL. On top of that he lost his , oc, , HC. This is going to be the start of his regression

nico collins renegotiation

I’m trying to understand the Texans’ approach with Nico Collins’ contract. Instead of extending him earlier, they basically paid him more on the remaining years of his deal. Nick Caserio has done a good job overall, but this kind of move feels like it’s more about cap management than locking guys up early.

Is this just a “wait-and-see” strategy, or does Caserio not like doing early extensions unless he absolutely has to?

Is anyone else concerned about our pass rush?

I know it's still early, but I'm a little worried about whether we'll be able to consistently generate pressure this season. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it feels like it's still a question mark.

How does everyone else feel? Are you confident in the current group, or do you think it's something the Colts still need to address?

Jtt aint it, and latu is alright but buck and grove are very old in the interior and i dont think teams will fear the linebackers

Do you trust Daniel Jones or 2025 was just a fluke ?

im torn on this but i feel like Steichen could even make me look competent at qb, i will be sad when we fire him after this 9-8 or 8-9 season and he take the Chiefs HC Job after Andy reid retires due to health.
