I don't remember hating this game(Gwent) this much. The fact that your opponent can just play all he wants after putting spies on your field(So he gets both the round AND the card advantage) making the game pointless. I have the starter deck and no special cards but this is just nonsense how much more powerful his deck his. I've on a new run and tried to win like 4-5 times but all the time card advantage just eradicates my board alongside with bs cards like ''Kills the strongest card(s) on the field'' etc. Like I said I have no special cards I am just trying it with the regular deck but it's really batshit insane how an opponent just stacks cards upon cards after playing like 3-4 spies on your field.(Which makes the entire point about ''ıf you have the overwhelming advantage you can pass the turn'' tip in the in-game tutorial meaningless and false). Like it was long time since I've last played Gwent not counting the independent free to play Steam game which I heard got abandoned.(not sure if it's true though).Is there a strategy/tactic to win against the Baron consistently without any ''new'' cards just the starter deck.

Like more dungeons or types of dungeons you can enter etc?

What's the best virtual machine to run Linux Distros like Puppy etc in win 7 now that Virtual box no longer supports win7?

I have a 1080p 144 hz IPS monitor which is Acer XV253Q.It's nice but I have a problem with it.During gameplay or even let's say clicking the start menu of Win 10 there is a VERY noticable flicker which gets progressively worse as you lower brightness and contrast with calibration. These are my Acer Display Widget settings(Test):

Blue Light:Off

Brightness:0

Contrast:0

Gamma: 2.2(Other options are 1.8 and 2.4)

Color Temp:Warm

Black Enhancement:0(out of 10)

Motion settings set at normal(out of off or Extreme)

Now I tried the motion setting but it changes nothing so it can't be related to this issue. Because I've tried all three and it doesn't fix the problem. Anyone else have this problem is it normal or my monitor is faulty?I've had this for a long time so it isn't recent but I've just thought it's due to bad motion in IPS monitors but I've just started playing Witcher 3 Goty and realised I really really want to fix this issue.

I've tried increasing the setting values in Acer Display Widget but the results completely eliminate any ''black'' color that exists and when I do that so that's not an option neither. My Gpu is a rtx 2070 and I've updated drivers couple of times before so I geniunely don't think it's an issue with the gpu but I am not sure. I use a Displayport cable as Hdmi not only didn't allow frames over 60 it also doesn't support g-sync I think.

Im just curious as someone who played DOW 1 quite a bit on Steam with my friend but I've never checked the community other than Moddb mods pages/articles and modlist you see when you click on the DOW mod manager but that's about it.Was there a National Socialist uprising in here or something?

Any fantasy based total conversion mods for DOW 1(Non-definitive Edition)?Do they exist?Or if not how hard would it to make one?I am also curious about turning DOW into stronghold type game(With walls and food etc) more of a simulation game than Rts etc.

I look up the internet and many benchmarks show even something like gt 630m 2gb which is slightly more powerfull but has dedicated vram can't run Oblivion well let alone something like Skyrim(Og not even Specal) yet I find posts in this subreddit recommending Skyrim for Intel Hd 4000 owners?Which is accurate?Can ı play far older titles like Witcher 1/2 or Dark Messiah of Might and Magic on Intel Hd 4000 with 6gb ram?

Main pc is win 10 but ı wanna play luanti on my other device which is an old offline 2014ish laptop with win 7 would it be possible with vxkex or how to find the old version of Luanti/Minetest that worked natively with win 7?Would mods even work with that version how old was it?Or Am I stuck with Terasology?
