Did you guys grew up watching Hindi dubbed cartoons?

Recently met a Kannadiga who was speaking fluent Hindi, I asked him how he learnt Hindi so well and he said that he grew up watching cartoons on Cartoon Network which was Hindi dubbed.

I on the other hand grew up watching cartoons/anime in English dubbed, so was able to pick up English well as a kid.

What about you guys?
