So, I ate a nugget that was supposed to be discarded from a canceled order, and I got written up for it. But now I feel like I want to quit. The guilt and shame are really getting to me.
For context, it was a day when I had to come in early and couldn't have breakfast. I had to work 6 hours, and they wouldn't let me eat until my shift was over. I know that's not an excuse, but there were about 20 nuggets, and I thought, "Why not?" It was a moment of weakness.
They didn't fire me, but I don't know what to do now. I feel like I've permanently lost my managers' trust.
What do you guys think I should do? Should I keep my head held high and work harder, or should I just quit?
Could you recommend me some books with a theme like this? Something featuring a colossal, monstrous creature with very specific intentions.
I don't think this book is exactly about that, but the cover and the style made me think of it, and it seems like it could be really entertaining.
I had to start working and survive for more than five months on minimum wage to understand that the series is a metaphor for dissociating during work hours.
Does anyone remember this episode? I can't find it no matter how hard I look for it.
[Discussion] Are there any stories where superheroes or villains are irresponsible parents with several children, or simply have children they don't even know exist?
I was just wondering about this because of Superboy's situation in the Young Justice series, where Superman is so uncomfortable with the whole thing that he doesn't even want to stay with him for a while to get to know him a little, help him, or explain how his powers (which come from him) might work. Maybe he could even see if he could give the poor kid some mental clarity. I mean, the whole situation is pretty concerning in several ways.
Are there female volus? who simply don't appear because the story doesn't delve too deeply into them? What would they look like?
Is it normal to want a girlfriend just because I want to feel loved? I'm kinda frustrated.
I'm not talking about an specific someone in my life, just the general concept of having a partner because I want to have physical intimacy with a woman, I'm I a bad man?
In general I have been single for many years but I'm most of the time working and taking care of my mom, I'm pretty broke too, want to go back to study something paying myself and look for a better life quality, I'm currently 30 and feel like a loser in general, sometimes I think maybe I would be happier with a partner but sometimes it feels like I'm just horny not really looking for love, but because I don't feel like I deserve love, sometimes even consider just pay for it, but I feel is morality wrong and don't like the idea, but sometimes I just feel so lonely
Do you guys think Superman uses a kryptonite butt plug so he can sleep with Lois Lane without accidentally killing her?
[Discussion] To me, despite how bizarre the episode is, I think Talia al Ghul's ending in Batman Beyond is one of the most tragic I've ever seen in DC.
It's not just the twist of how her father convinced her to die so he could keep living, but also Bruce's reaction to it. He goes from believing she's still alive to realizing the horrible truth, and in the end, all he has left is the good memory of what was otherwise a complicated and troubled relationship, represented by a photo of them from a time when they were genuinely happy together.
The line, "Goodbye, my beloved," is absolutely heartbreaking to me. I think Batman is the kind of man who truly loves every woman who comes into his life, even though he never ends up with any of them.
I was thinking of a specific scenario where a king desperately wants an heir but is unable to have one. He decides to execute the queen because of it, so she secretly sleeps with a farmer who works on the castle grounds in order to become pregnant. She eventually falls in love with him.
Has there ever been a story like that?
