I have recently released a photo book featuring similar photos which is centered around Chicago. It is a hardcover, fifty page book that includes cityscapes and scenery from across the world as well. It was on display at Gold Coast Art Fair on June 20-21 and is linked below.
These photographs form a collection of the past eight years in the city made not only at street level but high above Chicago as well.

I was going through old photos and found some I took on my way to a New Year’s party in 2019. How hopeful we were about 2020. Illinois’s weed legalization was coming into effect at midnight. We drove up to a friend’s apartment near Loyola. It was so cold. The lights were so bright. I remember climbing out onto the fire escape and feeling the icy air blowing off the lake against my cheeks.
