Do we have any update on a potential release date for the Switch 2 port of Stellar Blade? (i.e. leaks, rumours, dev/publisher interviews)

I haven't played Stellar Blade yet and I'm really looking forward to when it releases on Switch 2 so I can play it. I've heard it's great despite all I've heard online about it being a "gooner game" just for Eve having sexual appeal in her design

I know it's due to come out in 2026, but that's such an open ended answer that it could be anytime within the remaining 6 months of the year and I don't like how open-ended it is with uncertainty of the release, I feel like would a near-christmas release be best as it avoids all the GTA 6 take-over and September has a load of games due to presumably the GTA 6 release date.

So is there anything that would indicate a rough period of time (or even a more specific time) for a release? and do we also have any information on if it'll be on-cartridge or a Game Key Card (I fear it will be a GKC, but I'm holding out hope)

Why do I feel like I’m not improving that much despite having 106hrs of play?

I’m going to link 3 different games I played, all in different modes, I’m trying to learn to play Shion but I feel like I’m not seeing any improvement in my play in general. I am new to Shion and I do want advice on how I can improve. I only play quick play and my Top-5 highest level heroes are Mercy (13), Brigitte (9), Kiriko (7), D.Mon (5), and Lucio (5). It is also worth nothing imo that before hero levels, I played a lot of Ashe and she is my joint most-played by hours (on 13, Tied with Lucio)

Would Video Games be a suitable theme for a potential themed week or are they not mainstream enough to warrant one?

One of my favourite hobbies is videos games in general and there’s some amazing soundtracks across gaming, and I feel like (in theory) a video game week on strictly could work

Examples I have include: a Paso Doble to One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII, a samba to Anarchy Rainbow from Splatoon 3, a tango to Chippin’ In from Cyberpunk 2077, a charleston to Jump Up Superstar from Super Mario Odyssey, a rumba to Fantastic from the League of Legends show “Arcane”

I just see a lot of potential, yet I understand that it may not be popular given the demographics of both probably have very little crossover and it would be seen as just a gimmick week and maybe a one-time week and never again à la BBC 100 week, because I don’t see them doing another BBC themed week until maybe the 150th or something

What UK team would be the subject of SNL US’ “The Other Cavaliers” skit?

I’ve seen a lot of memes about the USA’s “The Other Cavaliers” slit in regards to forgotten things in with some really popular stuff, like English counties, California cities, etc

I’m curious what team would be the subject of a UK remake of this, where there’s a clear most popular (LeBron in the Cavs case) in a sea of unknowns

It may be a bit harsh but I want to say Man United 2021/22 with Ronaldo being the clear star, although there’s a lot of other great names in that squad like De Gea, Maguire, Fernandes, Cavani, Matic

If the UK was to send a song in a native non-English language, what would you want them to try?

In the UK, we have a lot of minor languages that don’t get a lot of attention, and I’ve always been an advocate for more cultural UK diversity in our entrants and I think an idea is to move away from English for a song, even just once

I’d love to see a song in Welsh personally, it’s a beautiful language in my opinion and I’d love to see what could be done with it, though I see Scots as the most likely given it’s similarities to English

If you were on Strictly, what song/songs (if you have multiple) would you do for Musical Week?

I’ve got 2 songs I’d love to do for Musical week

Firstly, a Waltz to Seventeen from Heathers, it’s my favourite song from the show and I’m amazed that in the time I’ve watched strictly (2018-current) that no one has done Heathers as I think you could do in Strictly, more upbeat and some slower ones too. The obvious line is going for Veronica and JD as the song is all about them wanting to be teens in love

Secondly, and I don’t even know if this would be allowed as it’s not a stage show, but a Paso Doble to Little Wolf from Epic: The Musical. The specific song tells the story of Telemachus fighting Antinous in The Odyssey and adapted into song by Jorge Rivera-Herrans, and I think Little Wolf in strictly would be Telemachus and Athena training together readying for the fight
