Mine is shrimp cocktail

It’s just boiled shrimp lining a cocktail glass filled with cocktail sauce and an olive skewer if you wanna be EXTRA fancy then chilled for a while

It is SO good

The way they talk about women is so weird

I saw a comment today talking about liking tomboys because “Just because I like women doesn’t mean I wanna deal with their bullshit”??????

Being trans I remember often times at “Guy nights” everyone would be talking about their girlfriends like they were cement blocks they had to carry around and like again… you’re supposed to like these people 😭😭

Idk that I’ve ever met a straight man who actually liked women, it often feels like they just view them as accessories

I honestly forget straight people exist sometimes so when I’m exposed to some of their bullshit it’s always a bit of a shock

I tried to post this to that sub but we aren’t allowed to even address anything about the subreddit within the actual subreddit

It’s so bizarre to me first you have to jump through their ridiculously strict hoops to make sure your post doesn’t get removed, then once it is approved literally no matter what it is you will be downvoted

Is it just trolls? Is it a bunch of snobs who want nothing short of enlightening conversation and find simple discussions to be a waste of time?

I have been downvoted to hell for literally just discussing hypotheticals

It’s been like this for at least 6 years

I’d understand what was going on if it was at all consistent but it’s not it legitimately seems to be every single post with no discrepancy

Is it just like one guy with a couple alts who really hates Pokémon and has nothing better to do?

By the time I move out I’m going to be ~19-20 ish and my parents won’t be around (hopefully closer to 19 I’m kinda dying here 😭)

A few of my recipes include alcohol (mostly beer batter fried stuff and some Italian dishes with wine, I want to try putting some beer in my chili but idk how it’ll turn out)

During that brief span what can I do about this

I have checked and you can buy dry cooking stuff but a lot of it doesn’t do what I want it to

When I hit drinking age this won’t be a problem, and I kinda wanna mess around with cocktails a bit (I’m setting hard alcohol limits for myself please don’t worry), but idk what to do in the meantime

When I was early in high school I used to wait outside every morning before school so I could meet my then-girlfriend and we could hug each other and I could walk with her to class

One day it was really cold out and I forgot my jacket and I was complaining about it and she took her sweater off and offered it to me

It wasn’t a very girly sweater it was neon yellow but everyone in the school knew it was her’s and it was shaped to fit a woman’s body and I ended up panicking and refusing

At the time I didn’t really know why cause honestly sharing clothes is peak couple things but looking back I think it was the subconscious knowledge that wearing a “girl sweater” would make me very happy at a time that I wasn’t ready for that reality

So I was feeling much better than usual last night and actually felt kind of pretty (likely because I finally managed to get rid of 99% of my body hair and I cleaned up some dead skin) and my subconscious rewarded me with peak:

I was at a library and I wrote something along the lines of “I think you’re really cute, wanna chat? [number]” on a note and I took my fan out and covered my face partially and slid it in front of a girl I had noticed and then quickly ran away before she could say anything

We ended up going and getting tea together

On the one hand it was pokemania so there had to have been TONS, but on the other hand almost all plushes I can find from the time just cover the starters, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Poliwhirl, and maybe a few extras if you’re lucky

Also is there a site that has a good searchable database of all of the plushes, I want to catalogue the first plush ever released for every Pokémon (not to collect I’m not that insane just out of curiosity) but every site I can find is either missing tons of info (like so much you can tell at a glance there’s a ton missing) or is basically completely impossible to search

What if I had a girlfriend and she’d been out of town for a bit and I decide to bake a cake for her to welcome her back because I missed her and she gets home a bit earlier than I expect and she hugs me while I finish up

That would be kinda epic

It might’ve been a misunderstanding somewhere down the line but I’m just really frustrated right now

It’s really upsetting to me how many hurdles I have to jump through to post in women’s spaces that aren’t specifically about trans women

I love us all obviously but it just really feels like I’m made to go sit in the corner any time I try to actually go somewhere

It makes me feel like I am “just pretending” and that I don’t belong in these spaces and it’s just… so defeating

And then you finally do get a post through somewhere and no one responds to it and/or you get attacked by bigots in the comments 🫩

ETA: Upon rereading, it appears the first part of their message to me (which was the part about it being a female space) is just an automated part of the message, and the actual rule I broke was about needing more specific details

I avoid subscription services as much as I can (I’m subbed to Nintendo Switch Online and my VPN, I’m gonna get a Dropout subscription eventually but other than that nothing)

I want to watch OS but I would prefer to watch the sub, however all I can find on DVD is either the dub or the Japanese version with no subtitles

I have been single for close to 4 years now

For a long time I’ve been saying I want to get to a point where I’m getting regular therapy and feeling better about myself before I start dating again but I’m getting increasingly frustrated 💔💔

I want to have someone where we both love each other so much we can donate half of it to charity and still be among the most in love individuals ever (the 1% of lovers if you will)

I want to have someone that during a bad day I can cuddle into and we can get lost in the smell of each other and feeling the softness of each other’s skin

I want to share the air of another girl and be able to look at each other in silence with the romantic tension of a rubber band stretched to its limits

I want to carefully and delicately prepare a meal making sure everything is perfect down to the milligram and pour all of my passion into it

I want to be able to listen to her rant about how bad her day at work was and then kiss her to make her forget

I can’t figure it out and all the guides are just telling me how to do it in general

First of all I want to say thank you all for being respectful in our sub, after some previous situations I was fully ready to have to enact our low effort rule religiously but surprisingly there’s only been two posts I had to remove (we’re not those kind of mods we just try to keep the subreddit from getting clogged with the same tired stuff), it’s been very peaceful

Third of all, I want to share a random fun fact that is tangentially related to his actual inclusion in MSM: Among some fans there are two major “eras” of his career, and they are separated by when he changed his look (seen in the costume and regular version), the eras are “Pre-LASIK” and “Post-LASIK” (LASIK being an eye surgery that he got which is why he lost the glasses)

One of my little hobbies is making lists that already exist but they’re MY lists so they’re special!!

I love the autopilot mode it puts me in where I have a thing to focus on and I can just think about that thing with background noise and I don’t have to worry about everything else

Only downside is then I finish what I’m doing and I feel drained 😔
