I’m trying to play every Pokémon region - I’ve played most of them so I’m kind of going in a random order, and this time I’m doing remakes rather than originals

I’ll come back around to do the legends games and sequels and such once I’m done

I’ve now beaten Kalos and Unova so it’s on to Alola

(Hall of fame pic is cobbled together because I could NOT be assed to beat Alder lmao)

Now technically if you count the games I’ve beaten before I’ve beaten every region except Hoenn and Sinnoh (and I almost beat Hoenn but then ScVi came out and then I learned I was trans and it… yeah)

I don’t post my art publicly much anymore because I find at best usually people don’t engage with it and at worst people are overly mean about it, but this sub is so friendly to art in general that I feel comfortable enough to try

I’m used to this in like songs from 30+ years ago but the gilligans island score????

Not even the theme song it’s the background music that plays while they’re dicking around 😭

I’m planning to cosplay Marina from Mischief Makers in a few years but a lot of the cosplays I’ve seen don’t even try with her feet (that’s fine obv but I want to go the extra mile)

The solution I’ve come up with is getting a heel that doesn’t have the part in the back but I have no idea if this kind of thing exists - a plan b would be to get a clear heel and paint most of it but I’m not sure if it would look the greatest

#10 - Froslass

One thing you’ll notice is that I am very fond of evolutions to older mons and Froslass is a good example, Snorunt and Glalie were both… fine…, but Froslass is incredibly cool, I love that they somehow managed to make a Pokémon wear a kimono and not have it seem awkward

#9 - Sinistea

I really don’t have a lot to say about this one, I’ve loved it from the moment it was revealed, I love tea, I love ghost types, put them together I’m gonna love that, idrk what else to add

#8 - Annihilape

When I heard via leaks that Primeape was getting an evo I didn’t really think much of it, the Dunsparce and Girafarig evos interested me much more, but 4 years removed (good lord) and Annihilape has really grown on me, taking the dex entries about Primeape getting so angry it dies and therefore having it turn into a ghost type is incredibly sick

#7 - Eelektross

Eelektross is one of the few Pokémon that have been in my top 10 since basically the beginning (aka once I started allowing myself to like non-gen 1 mons), its inspirations are awesome the fact it has no weaknesses is awesome it’s just all around cool, not much else to add

#6 - Gothitelle

I have barely anything to say about it she just is very slay girlboss I love her, they had no reason to make a mon that serves so much cunt and yet they did

#5 - Nihilego

Sun and Moon are to this day the only Pokémon games I’ve ever played spoiler free and Nihilego blew my fucking mind, Lusamine isn’t my favorite human character anymore but she’s still up there and I love its simplicity, the ultra beasts as a whole are really cool but UB-01 will forever be my favorite, it also has one of the best shinies in the game and it’s based on the phantom jellyfish which is probably like my 2nd or 3rd favorite non-cephalopod sea creature

#4 - Overqwil

It is the Alolan Exeggutor thing but cranked to the max and I *love* that, it has an awesome color scheme, and it being based on fugu adds a layer of black comedy to it I don’t think any other Pokémon really has

#3 - Gliscor

Tied with lickitung for the Pokémon that was my favorite for the longest amount of time, it literally has my color scheme, I love bats, scorpions are cool, idrk what else to say, it mainly just fell by the wayside because I didn’t have any personal attachment to it I just thought it was awesome and… yeah it is lmao

#2 - Mega Gardevoir

I am putting Mega but know both forms take this slot, I always thought Gardevoir was cool but it took accepting myself as a woman to truly come to appreciate her, I love her almost bridal demeanor, she is a beacon of femininity and as a very feminine person that naturally appeals to me, if I wasn’t broke I’d get the life size plush

#1 - Mismagius

(Disclaimer: Misdreavus is technically number 2 but I didn’t want the same line taking up 2 spots of the top 10)
Mismagius is the first Pokémon I have ever had a true attachment to, in a way she kind of symbols me accepting who I was as her becoming my favorite happened right around the time I started to properly cement my identity, I love how she can be cute she can be beautiful she can be evil she can be cool she can be mysterious she’s just all around amazing, also red and purple

My haj is old (he’s adopted) and missing a bit of stuffing and what is there is really compressed and makes it feel like she’s got a bunch of stuffing balls in them rather than proper stuff

I’m going to need to wash and do surgery on him

I mainly worry about it falling or being too big, it probably won’t be a daily thing but once in a while would be fun
