Alchemic Beasts, 7000 wishlists! Demo Coming Soon

HELLO EVERYONE!

We've been hard at work on our monster taming RPG, Alchemic Beasts, and we're proud of how far we've come.

When we first entered the Summer Gamesfest, our goal was simple: reach 500 additional wishlists. So, imagine our surprise when we surpassed 7,000 total wishlists in just one week!

We want to thank every one of you for supporting us throughout this journey. Your support has meant the world to our team.

Recently, we attended Trenton's first Anime Convention, where we had the opportunity to meet fans face to face and let people try the first playable version of Alchemic Beasts. The response was very positive, and it was great to see so many people connect with the world we've been building.

Soon, a more polished, and feature rich demo will be out for all to play, and we can't wait for everyone to experience our cool monster taming game.

To stay up to date on the game's development and be among the first to playtest future builds, support us through our Alchemic Beasts Kickstarter.

We truly can't express how grateful we are to have such an incredible community of monster taming fans behind us.

Does Crafting Belong in Monster Tamers?

Hello everyone!

We wanted to talk to you about our alchemy, and how it works in our monster taming game.

In alchemic beasts, we don't only use it to create advanced creatures, we use it everywhere! The only thing about our alchemy crafting system, is that you'll have to find it. To craft an item in our game you must mix 2 or more items together, and you may or may not get a result, the game will tell you the possibilities of that mix. Once you find a mix, you can craft it and add it to you formula book so you can easily create it afterwards.

But what if an item you use just isn't enough anymore? The alchemy table is still your best friend. You can use the recipe, and add additives to enhance the efficiency of that item. We believe a system like this will enhance the immersion of the game, making you a real alchemist, creating potions and items.

We want to know:

  • How does our crafting system sound to you?
  • What do you need in a crafting system?
  • What are some of you favorite crafting systems from other games?

We would love to hear what you have to say about this, and if you like what you see, you can Wishlist Alchemic Beasts on Steam, and checkout our Kickstarter Pre-Launch page!

Thank you for all the support, we'll be back soon with more Alchemic Beasts!

Hey everyone!

We wanted to talk a bit more about the beasts in Alchemic Beasts and the two characters who are crazy enough to deal with them.

In our world, beasts are creatures infused with just enough elemental energy to actually control it. As you can imagine, that makes them extremely dangerous across Kelt, and most people wouldn’t even think about going near them. Except, of course, for two people. Zeig and Mioni. Zeig is an engineer and a top-tier tamer, while Mioni is, well… a bit of a mad alchemist. Instead of avoiding these creatures, they study them.

Zeig uses his custom-built bombs along with these artificial dimensional rifts Mioni creates to capture beasts in the wild. It’s not exactly safe, but it works.

Once they’ve got a creature contained, Mioni starts experimenting on it to push its magical limits, while Zeig focuses on training it and bringing out its full potential in a more controlled way. They definitely don’t see things the same way, but somehow, they make it work. Together, they’re trying to figure out what’s really going on with these beasts and how it all connects to the mystery of the Demon King.

We’d love to hear what you want to see from our protagonist duo. If you’re interested in learning more or want to support us, check out Alchemic Beasts on Steam and add it to your wishlist!

Hello everybody! Today we want to tell you about some of the starters for Alchemic Beast. Mioni had found most of the beasts damaged and on the brink of death before giving them the care they need… even if it was just to study them. Remember to choose wisely!

First up is Belli. He knows where he wants to go and how he wants to get there. He's quite durable and has average strength, but with Guardian Tail and Spikey Revenge, he knows how to punish anyone who gets in his way.

Wingly is quite the stereotypical hookwing. She's greedy, and when she doesn’t get what she wants, she’ll happily take that frustration out on your enemies by regurgitating all over them or shocking them. With her high speed, she can get away with it too.

Best Friend was the name hastily given to this orchid by Mioni before she noticed how much of a problem Best Friend would be. While she is pretty mediocre physically, her adaptability and flame magic will definitely make her a difficult opponent to fight in battle.

The Meg is quite a scary creature when you first meet her, but you would quickly come to realize that she’ll always have your back through thick and thin. Her loyalty extends beyond just you as she got friends on the other side.

The Buzzel is a naturally aggressive creature, and Buzzton is no exception. While she is pretty flimsy, her strength is in offense, quickly slapping and wrestling until whoever is disturbing her is down.

Lastly, we have Shellodon. He's a hugger not a fighter, a lover not a hater. Mioni didn't like him because he's slimy and clingy, therefore he awaits a name from Zieg. When his friends are in danger, he can definitely defend himself and his friends and take his place in a team by providing group morale.

We want to know which one is your favorite and who you'd choose, and as always, you can learn more and wishlist at Alchemic Beasts on Steam.
