My Govee product responds over bluetooth but doesn't receive power?

I had a govee glide wall light, I used it for maybe 6 months and then had it unplugged for a year and a half. Went to plug in, and the power adapter on the bottom is receiving no power.

There is a plug that goes into the wall, as well as the actual bottom part that seems to be the wireless receiver -- this has what appears to be a light, but it does not come on.

However, the light itself is picked up over bluetooth as if it is on, but it doesn't respond to me changing the light.

I am unsure what is broken, and with it being out of warranty, Govee is just telling me to seek professional help.

Anyone familiar with this issue that might know what is wrong?

Feels near impossible to do well on Expert vocals, is there a way I can figure out what is happening?

Tested on a few songs I know the exact pitch to, but it seems like the circle is just not filling at the pace I'd expect it to.

I am wondering if it is something with my microphone not pushing the vocals through powerful enough. I have an audio interface and a XLR microphone, I had to tweak it quite a bit to hear myself.

There is a chance it is a latency thing too but even when I try to account for that, it still feels off.

What might I be able to do to help troubleshoot this?

VIOFO Dual 2k inconsistently turning on, is there a good drop-in replacement?

Hi,

The issue is that it just doesn't turn on with my car sometimes. I haven't changed cables or anything about my installation -- my camera was purchased in 2021. If I unplug and replug the cable AFTER I start my car, it always comes on fine. I just don't always remember to do that.

I've been troubleshooting my camera for about 6 months now and I think I might just want to grab a replacement to drop in -- last thing I want is to have an issue and realize my camera was not on.

Unless someone has familiarity with this issue or a really good idea to troubleshoot it, I'd love to hear what other camera I can get to just drop in place of the current one without having to re-run wires. So a mini-USB powered camera ideally.

Thoughts?

Help me appreciate MFG

tl;dr: MFG produces way too many artefacts for me to appreciate the benefits. Is this just how it is, or can I improve this somehow?

Recently upgraded to a 5000 series. I had heard some good praise for MFG from those who had this series, but in the few implementations I tried, it was very noticeable that it was generated frames.

Running around, I could see things like my static compass and health/stamina bars look like they're pieces of cloth being blown around by violent wind.

In another game, shadows and other colors at my feet looked like rushing water moving along with me, massively pixelated.

Is this perhaps more of an issue if I'm pushing MFG too hard? ie - if I were to be getting something like 40fps and I'm using MFG to get to 120, is it too many generated frames to look good? And thus adjusting my quality slightly will help?

Or, is this just a bad implementation for the particular title I'm playing? Is this actually even a title by title implementation, or is the global rendering pipeline the same?

Just looking to appreciate it as that was originally what seemed like a big draw for the 5000 series cards.

Thanks!

What's the best way to get more usage in the current month?

I know things go to shit next month, but I'm at about 80% capacity for this month already on my $10 plan, and it renews tomorrow. Is the best move for me to just cancel the renewal and sign up on a new account? Otherwise I'm going to pay $10 and then hit my cap within a day or so.

In short, under the current model - What is the best way to gain a new quota? New account, pay for credits, or otherwise?

Thanks!

Have a formID, can I cast a spell on it via scripting?

Goal: Trying to cast clairvoyance on a specific formID, which is a container.

Is there any way either via console or lua scripting to target this form and make it the target of a Clairvoyance spell?

Do we have any way to print an ingame variable with CS Kit?

Hi,

I'm looking to simply print a numeric variable I am tracking. For the most basic example possible:

scn varTest

Begin GameMode

set myVar to 3 Message "My var:", myVar

End

However I know it doesn't work like this, but do we have any way to force this in remastered? I do have a way to print by pulling out a variable through LUA and spitting it back in, but trying to find a better way.

Thanks!

How do we launch Trials of Tav?

I have had some mostly passive mods, like improving the minimap and UI / inventory, etc..

I want to try out Trials of Tav. My understanding is it needs 'Expansion' and 'AdvanctedTTSpells' installed as well.

When I use the BG3ModManager, I see it in my list and its enabled, but in-game the box was not set. What does the BG3ModManager actually even do? Am I missing something here?

Here is my current setup: https://i.ibb.co/JWLVDccv/image.png

I also don't want to mess up my vanilla playthrough with accidentally having the expanded levels and spells enabled when I play. What is the best way to have different 'saves' of my mods? Do I just need to enable and disable in game every time? Or can the mod manager help with this?

Thanks!

Update: Found a very simple way of dealing with this without breaking the player's stats. In Gameplay--> Settings there is a value fActorStrengthEncumbranceMult, which is set to 5 for the normal Strength * 5 calculation for total encumbrance. Simply set this value very high and encumbrance issues go away.

I want to give an item to a player right after character creation. Is there a way I can create an item in creation kit with a feather effect, or do I need to assign the spell to the player? I'm trying not to assign the spell as it has the on-screen effect at all times.

The sentiment around the billing change is overwhelmingly negative. I get it, I like paying a flat amount and not feeling like each time I press enter I am costing myself money.

That said, I have had my subscription since January of this year, and for two months I really underutilized the service.

My usage statistics

Other than January, I would have saved about a month's worth of my plan ($10) under the new model.

I know this isn't much, and this probably doesn't apply to a lot of the power users here. But when I dove into their metered usage forecast, I realized that it doesn't appear to negatively affect me.

I know this will probably be crushed by the negativity around the changes, and I do sympathize with those who are not benefiting by the change. Just wanted to see if anyone else is positively affected by the change.

Hi,

I have a 10‘ x 15‘ deck with some stairs that I’m looking to get re-stained for the summer. What is a good place I can go to get quoted for something like this?

also, if anyone in the business knows what a reasonable quote might be that would be appreciated

Hi,

I am using TES Construction Set, and I'm trying to set quest markers on known items and entities that have EDIDs. However, some of these are in the wilderness. I don't believe I can just type the X/Y coords or even enter the EDID for the entity and jump there. It seems I have to go to a nearby cell and navigate until I find it, and then set the marker on the item.

Is there any better way to do this, perhaps with xEdit or some other tool? Basically looking to assign the quest marker at a particular stage on this particular EDID. If [this] let me choose any known ref that would be amazing, but it's only pulling up the refs in the specific cell I have selected. And since there are tons of wilderness cells, I can't easily find the one that contains the particular ref.

Any ideas on how I might do this a better way?

Many thanks!

I use a third party app for my controller, and it works best when the game itself just detects the emulated version of my controller through the app.

Almost always, Steam Input takes control first and represents it as another controller, which I do not want.

I have to manually turn off Steam Input on every single game. Is there any way we can do this globally?

Trying to come up with a goal of getting a certain amount of gold in a playthrough. I've not messed with the financial side of the game too much, so I'm looking for opinions from others that have.

I feel like 1k and even 10k are pretty easily attainable. But what about 100k? How long do you think it'd take you to earn that much?

I got my Powerspec G757 this past Winter, so I haven't had it during hot weather yet. Today is actually a cold night, but my PC just hit 88C simply when I was launching a game. It has also been idling around 50C, which is higher than I recall it doing previously.

I'm worried about the CPU running at that temp, but I haven't had AMD in like 20 years so I'm unsure if that's a normal temp or not. It seems crazy high from what I am used to.

If this is too high, how can I contact Microcenter to get this fixed?

Someone is selling WDMSELEA2B and states it works for Playstation, but it is linking me to a Wii version of Rock Band drums. My model is the PS3 (PS4??) version of the kit. Wanted to see if there was a way I can confirm that these are compatible or not.

Thanks!
