I have 34 unmatched items that I am trying to avoid redownloading, just looking to get them reconciled with Bindery.

In many cases, the parsed author is just a mess and not the actual author. I manually added a book via ISBN and it fails to see the already downloaded item. Another case, an ISBN returned the exact book but it greyed out the 'Add' button because the author name was missing on the result.

A lot of work to try and match these books, but... should I even care about doing this? They are already synced up properly in Emby.

I can 'grab' an item, it gets moved where it needs to go, and then Bindery just complains about not being reconciled or matched. There also doesn't appear to be any way to manually tell Bindery that X book is X folder/file. It either finds exactly what it expect to or it never matches.

What is recommended? The grab process is so smooth, but linking metadata in Bindery is easily 10x's the effort.

Is there something I can do to improve this? It is only about a second, but it doesn't happen on other buttons. Is there something I might have set that could be adding this slight delay? I do have this set to 'hold' instead of toggle, but I tried switching and it did not change.

I finished Ochette chapter 4 and used the narrative befriend on the downed darkling. Then I went back to town and accidentally befriended someone else. Did I lose the ability to call the darkling? I didn't get to see if I could do it or not, but it showed the bar as if I was hiring it even though it died?

Title basically. i stumbled upon the automatic game mode setting and am wondering if this is a benefit or negative having it set on.

i did previously use the SHIELD for streaming my PC through Moonlight but I do not any longer.

Would there be any real downside to keeping this on?

Seems that it forces the emulated controller to be an X360, curious if anyone has a solution for being able to use touchpad controls over the moonlight client.

Not sure where this went off, but when I connect from my 4k display I can see the Apollo serving PC in full resolution.

However, I then went on my other PC that is only 1080p and upon connecting I can see it's still in 4k and I can't really navigate or even change the resolution.

I heard that Apollo has per-client resolution and settings, but it seems like that is not working.

What might be the best option for me to check to fix this?

So, playing as an Origin was the preferred way to play in DOS2. However, I have always heard that playing custom is the definitive way to play in BG3.

There are some Origin characters that I've never had in my party or played with. I'm curious about starting a new playthrough and including them as companions, or outright playing as them.

I'm mostly curious about things like how interacting with story beats and party banter would be having them in my party, versus actually playing as them.

In summary - If you wanted to experience an Origin character's story anew, would you prefer to do so having them as a companion, or playing as them?

I've been using Valve Plug to disable Steam input, and then every few games I go and try to play end up requiring it be put back on. It seems too many games don't have native controller detection. I've made sure to unhide my Dualsense in Hidhide to make sure that wasn't masking the connection.

For example, just picked up Octopath Traveller 2 and was unable to detect controllers until I re-enabled Steam Input with Valve Plug.

Is there any other trick to get around this with DSX? Just don't want to assume I know all the tricks, but it feels like I have to keep Valve Plug installer handy for those apps that don't have native controller support.

It's crazy that some businesses are so inept at communication. Attempted both webform submission and directly emailing someone, and had one response that sputtered out.

I recently updated my rustdesk version, and now when I time-out from a host, I can only click 'OK'.

Previously I had an option for reconnect.

I checked the settings and unless I missed it, there was no such setting.

Was this removed?

This is causing my videos to get picked up as if they were in different seasons in my Emby library. I do NOT want YouTarr appending anything on to my videos like this.

I realizing I'm probably asking this at the historically worst time, but I'd like to find a better solution for 50TB+ of personal video content from over a few decades. I've been using Youtube for a while now, which is probably still my 'best' option as it's essentially free hosting. But I'd like to have more ownership over my videos, and wondering what other options are out there.

Is the best bet at this point to self-host with massive hard drives? I do want to be able to pull up the videos, and youtube having playlists and organized content is going to be hard to beat. So maybe I keep hosting there, and use this secondary solution as a backup.

Whether it be something live hosted and streamable, internal or external, or offline backups -- what options do I have?

I typically just use the 'Chat' feature on one of my notebooks and read the reply. Wondering if there is either a provided way to hear the response spoken back to you, or if there's an API where we could hook in a way to push the response into a TTS engine or such.

So I want to be able to see white unread messages when I browse a specific server, but I only want to see the server unread dot on the left when a specific channel has a message in it.

Is this possible? If not, what else can I do to be better notified when a specific channel has a message?

I've seen some old posts that link to tools that target YouTube playlists and pull in newly posted videos.

However, I'm looking for a way to just search and pull in without having to 'subscribe' to a playlist.

Are there any other tools out there that work similar to a radarr or sonarr, but target youtube videos that match a search?
