I have received an anonymous internal email that needs to be shared far and wide.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) preserves U.S. government records, manages the Presidential Libraries system, and publishes laws, regulations, Presidential, and other public documents.

Centralizing federal records and closing NAR field locations reduces access by the public and agencies that store their records there.

Regionalized facilities ensure no one has to travel all the way to D.C. just to get information on government business in their home area.

They're trying to keep this quiet but this is something that deserves public outrage.
