As I said in my Donkey Kong Country 2 mastery post last week, this was the game I saved for this week. As for the "very special reason" why? Well, if you'd like to know, save this post and I'll link another post in the comments by the end of tomorrow.

I decided to push myself and get all of the Coin Collector achievements too, since unlike all of the other subsets for this game, they don't focus on any TAS nonsense, and Lethal Lava Land was the only one that was obnoxiously difficult anyway. I already decided that any subsets necessitating glitches like that, even if they're easy to pull off, do NOT belong on my radar.

And ever thankfully, unlike Coyote vs. Acme where it didn't play for me, I wasn't with my family so I didn't need to hide my excitement

Also, on the off chance that anybody notices the blurriness, this was a 3D screening

Yes, I know I said last week when I mastered the original DKC that I was burnt out on DK stuff from that, the Emerald Rush events, etc. and I actually did have another game in mind for my mastery this week, but I decided to save it for next week for a very special reason, and just carried on with the DKC trilogy for this week's mastery of mine. I earned Kwik Kong last week alongside Cautious Castle Cargo and the warp achievements, made bits of progress in Hard Mode for everything else during the week, and finished everything else up today.

Yes, this meme wasn't my idea, but it's unbelievably funny regardless

Also, if that wasn't funny enough, I might do this thrice for RetroAchievements. Hooray

I would move onto 2 and 3, but I'm feeling a little burnt out on Donkey Kong content now, not just with RA. I might just move onto 2D Mario or something
