I only noticed after I started a game and saw an item missing. Now my modded stuff is gone. How do I roll back to a save where my modded stuff is still there?

I don't have a recent enough backup save.

I put 7 sweet veggie cakes in my argentavis' inventory. After flying for some time there was only 1 left. And now it's gone too. I have disabled pegomastax and ichty spaws so I know they didn't get stolen.

Do all carnivores have this bug now?

For ships travelling at relativistic speeds you're going to need physical shielding for the incoming atoms, particles, objects, and blue shifted gamma radiation, especially at the front of the ship.

For larger objects you'll need defensive lasers, maybe interceptors too.

But how do you combine the shielding with the laser without compromising the coverage? The only way I could imagine it is multiple ships in a fleet covering each other with laser cannons on the side.

And the blue shift would add extra challenge with seeing incoming light and objects.

There were great auks in the north which were somewhat similar and did well (before we hunted them to extinction). How well would penguins fare?

Since c4 is stable it shouldn't explode on its own. Does the concrete mix still have the potential to be detonated? Can you construct a building imbued with plastic explosives in general?

Ships travelling forwards will have the light ahead of them moving towards the ship blue shifted. If they're travelling at relativistic speeds wouldn't all the light ahead of the ship turn into invisible x-rays and gamma rays?

What will such a fast ship see ahead of them? A blind spot? Only light from the furthest end of the universe?

How will it differ between conventional ships vs warp drive ships?

Assume enough understanding of biology and mastery of building synthetic organisms and biochemistries from the ground up.

How effective would it be for biosynthetic beings to have heavy metals like lead, gold, tungsten etc. diffused throughout their body to act as built in radiation shielding? Especially concentrated near the skin and outer layers and around the brain.

When you strip out circumstances, physics, material neural structure, complexity too difficult to fully map out and randomness what's left? Is there any kind of proper definition?

Your space ship is travelling at something like 1/10th of light speed. Colliding with a tiny pebble at such speeds would be like getting shot by a missile. Colliding with a slightly larger asteroid would be equivalent to an ICBM.

You'd need some serious shielding that's also disposable and swappable on the fly even at ridiculous speeds.

How would shielding against such collisions even be practical?
